Flood

You can be flooded by water, by emotion, of fear, a flood of energy, flooded by sense impressions, by sexual feelings, hatred or anger, flooded with feelings and memories.

Depression could be seen as an inundation of negative emotions; anxiety a flood of fear; an overflow of usually unconscious or uncontrolled feelings and urges into consciousness. The flood can of course be of positive feelings like love. In any case, floods can be enriching to growth if handled well. In many flood dreams it is positive energy the dreamer is anxious about.

This usually indicates powerful and difficult emotions causing you to feel swamped and threatened by their intensity. One can also  be ‘flooded’ with anxiety, a flood of fear, or even an overflow of usually unconscious or uncontrolled feelings and urges into consciousness.

The flood can of course be a release of positive feelings like love. In any case, floods can be enriching to growth if handled well. In many flood dreams it is positive energy the dreamer is anxious about.

In any case, floods can be enriching to growth if handled well. In many flood dreams it is positive energy the dreamer is anxious about. See: Deluge; Avoid Being Victims

A flood dream for Artemidorus indicated misfortune in litigation or ill tempered masters; and it has virtually the same meaning for the Africans.

If you have a tendency toward fluid retention a flood dream could be showing that, so drop your salt intake and take some green tea which flushes you out. This often shows as strange feelings  in the head, headaches or even migraines.

Flooded house: This might indicate you have water retention or health problems or else that a tremendous emotional upset has happened.

Example: So when I imagine standing at that spot I am flooded with feelings and memories. I am aware of the changes that have gone on over the many years I have stood in that place.

Example: The family image would be tarnished if feelings trapped beneath the surface heated up and became visible. Mary was stunned by these comments but recognised their validity. Suddenly she found herself flooded with previously repressed memories about specific incidents of physical abuse and emotional trauma from her childhood. These were memories that had been totally blocked from awareness during the intervening years.

Useful questions and hints:

Do I feel as if I might be overwhelmed of late – if so what by and can I avert it?

If this is positive energy how am I expressing or sharing it?

What power of change is rising around and in me?

I just had a Dream that my estranged husband and I were downtown and it started to rain. We were able to walk through the rain but the streets were flooded as were all the cars so we were unable to take the car.

-Desiree 2015-08-06 16:31:10

I had a dream last night that i was in a house just walking around then water came rushing through and i was swimming trying to find a way where it was safe to get out but then i saw a kitten. So i swam and swam to get the kitten and i got her and saved her. What does this mean?

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-08-11 8:05:47

Dear Desiree – It could mean that you felt overwhelmed by (painful) emotions and still managed to take care of a vulnerable part of you.
This might have happened in the past and is still somehow active in your inner world and possibly influencing some of your responses in your waking life as well.
Life works this way, because every hurt you received, every achievement is there in your inner world. Those hurts or mistakes have to be met before we can be free in our inner world. What we need to understand is that we all live in a very personal and unique inner world, an inner world that conditions the way you see and interact with the apparently outer world. Also the inner world is not destroyed or ended by death.
This inner world is created by what you do, think and decide, by what we have been taught and told, and also the crazy images we are fed by other people and the media. Really our inner world is the result of what we have worked on in the theatre of life. This inner world of creativity and imagination is very real and has enormous power.
Think of someone whose inner world/feelings/thoughts is dominated and filled with self-doubt, a sense of failure, of feelings of being unloved and worthless, and compare it with someone who is not troubled by doubts, but who is loving and supporting of others, who can easily express their creative ideas and loves imagination.
So the best thing to do would be to explore this dream for yourself and to become aware of what IS part of your inner world, for awareness without judging is a wonderful transformation tool.
When insight in your dream arrives it will clearly explain and link with your everyday life, your history and how it connects with the imagery of the dream. You will discover something new about yourself that you didn’t understand before, something that you can explain to somebody else and they can also see it clearly.

Scream, my son busted into tears, and me I was trying to stay calm, I told my wife we needed to get the kids as far from the house as possible and out of Oregon and we need to get our supplies we saved for this over the years, mind you I knew this was going to happen this was the horrible feeling I was feeling for a couple weeks. Well anyway we get all the stuff as fast as possible because I knew that if we were feeling something Lil now it was only going to get bigger because of the estecadia faults reacting to the San Andrew faults…I know there is going to be valcanic issue to and major flooding. We get the kids and everything together to start heading east. Sure as all the thoughts got running through my head the ground was cracking car alarms were going off, dogs barking people yelling, fighting. My kids were crying because they were scared and me trying to drive out of there as soon as possible. It all felt so real I can even remember thinking to myself we should have left a couple weeks ago when I started feeling this way because I remember having dreams of it in my dreams, mind you my kids are also only a couple years older than they are right now. The ground is separating as I’m driving, my wife is on the phone calling family to make sure they meet us in a certain state and city tword the east, and she is freaking out and she is the most calmest person I know and she has a loss for words, we hear we have lost a couple family member’s so what’s worse is she is crying trying her hardest to stay focused on telling everyone we need to keep moving, we had to find her father, step mother, brother his kids etc, and trying to do it asap without sinking into the ground from the shaking and crumbling…with the radio on we hear that water is going to start heading our way, time has past about an hour or so and things keep moving and fires are starting all over and you can smell the gas in the air, cars are tipped over accidents everywhere, and I can feel blood going down my arm, while driving around, listening about the new warning for a large flood about ready to happen, and me paying attention to everything else around me I hit an incoming car, and a shard of glass cut my arm everyone was OK so we kept going. Sorry I’m so random and all over the place. It was just so real to me. I remember telling my wife in the dream about me writing to you on this site about everything that was gonna happen is playing out. Maybe I shouldn’t finish because it’s to real and I don’t want to creep anyone out. I keep having the same dream over and over and I don’t know why my wife said she can hear me talking to hear while I’m sleeping to and that she can figure out what’s going on. I just needed to tell someone and I don’t want to sound weird. And the truth is the only reason I’m asking what this means is because the news is coming more out about these earthquakes and it’s all is starting a time line. I’m not scared about it my main concern is all the ppl that are going to lose their lives and how much ruin is going to come with what my dream depicted. And the truth is what has been showing on the news now is little compared to what really is going to happen in more than just a little bit of California and Oregon that will be gone it will be more than half of Washington, Oregon, California, Mexico even parts of Alaska. Earthquakes, valcanos, fires, flooding, what do I do? I want to tell you more but I’m not sure if it’s just a dream or what.

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-07-27 14:26:18

Dear Roxanne – I can only share with you what I see in your dream and I do not believe that your dreams are about the destruction of “more than half of Washington, Oregon, California, Mexico even parts of Alaska”.
The reason why I see your dreams in a different way is because of what you shared too; “I keep having the same dream over and over and I don’t know why”.
In general dreams recur because there are ways the dreamer habitually responds to their internal or external world. Because their attitude or response is unchanging, the dream that reflects it remains the same. It is noticeable in those who explore their dreams using such techniques as described under processing dreams – http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/processing-dreams/ -that recurring themes disappear or change because the attitudes or habitual anxieties that gave rise to them have been met or transformed.
    Please continue reading at http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/recurring-dreams/
The way I see your recurring dreams is that they are a call for, or a reflection of INNER change.
Dreaming about earthquakes (and floods) usually involves feeling of fear or insecurity. The loss of confidence in things that have always been stable or dependable in the past – this includes things such as a relationship, your personality structure, health, etc; so the breakdown of opinions, attitudes or relationships which seemed so dependable and you have taken for granted.
It may also show great inner change and growth that makes you feel uncertain of your ‘ground’. The growth from youth to puberty may be felt as an earthquake, as also maturity to middle or old age.
I would therefore want to ask you about your marriage or other domestic relationships and about your work situation. I would ask about any changes happening in your life – especially those caused by deep down tensions that are starting to release to bring in a new life for you.

Simultaneously I am aware of the fact that Oregon is a risk zone and that it is wise to take some reasonable preparation steps to prevent damage and protect lives.

I’m not scared about what’s going to happen because like you I have had visions of what’s to come thus far,the truth is I have predicting more than just this this dream but i have been predicting pregnancies, life events etc…I was just trying to find a place where I can find justification and clarity to these visions I never asked for. In my life I have predicted over 25 different pregnancies, and over 103 different life evemts, such as marriages, deaths, promotions and etc. I was seeking guide Nance yo one of the most important predictions I have ever had and only got what it means to me. I want to know what it means to the millions of ppl I live around on a day to day basis

OK so my dream was long and vivid, most of my family was in it and so we’re people I never met, first off my dream started with me having a bad feeling for about a couple of weeks an unsettling feeling but I didn’t know what, talked to my wife about the feeling that I could shake like when you know setting is going to happen. In my dream that I had I just got off work from my daily routine, walked in the door talked to my wife and my kids, the news came on and there was an alert that the faults are starting to shift and to expect to feel the rumbling here in Oregon . The faults are in California, well anyway me and my family start feeling a role shorty after like an earthquake things started falling off the walls, counters I mean everywhere. My daughter started to

Hi Tony,
Just last night I had a dream that I was in a doctor’s office and then looking outside saw a beautiful wave (like I was at the beach) but then realized I was looking out from the building and it was not the beach but indeed there was flooding. There were a few folks from work and home in the dream and the water kept getting higher and we continued to climb the building and ending up on a high floor. There was more but that was a weird dream and wanted to know what it means. Thanks!

-Brent 2015-07-05 19:42:25

Last night i had a dream about a food i was never in the water but it was a extremely major flood i seen houses starting to get engulfed by the waters and the river was rising at a unbelievable rate the safe area we were at was no longer safe so we had to leave and i was with chinese people didnt know who they were but we left and my car that was totaled out was in my dream it was along the edge of the river but the way the river was being so violent i didnt understand how my car was still there the river seemed like it had a invisible bearier because it was up over the height of my car and the bank but it didnt ever come near my car however when i was down by my vehicle i could feel the water on my back it was weird and then it just stopped the water was up significantly but the it was calm and then i started seeing people everywhere and across the river also. Then i woke up i dont know what to make of it. Oh my car also got destroyed but not by the water by the chinese people they tried pushing it up away from the river with a truck and it destroyed my car it was really weird because thats when the flood and all the violent weather stopped…. what does it mean???

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-07-08 13:15:59

Dear Brent – In your dream you are exploring how to respond to a flood and so how to respond to the possibility of allowing change in your life, a major change even.
What your dream figure perceives as “the safe area we were at was no longer safe” is perhaps not what it seems. We tend to feel safe with our habits, our beliefs, our feelings and the way we are programmed, not necessarily because they make us happy, but merely because they are familiar to us.
Any change will ask us to let go of something that has felt familiar – perhaps even for many, many years – and we perceive this process as confusing and often also as painful and so we rather avoid it.
That is why your dream figure chooses to not experience any of those feelings by creating an invisible barrier between him and the flood and so he keeps “it” at the back of his mind.
The Chinese people merely reflect those inner aspects of you that are not aware of what you are actually repressing and the wrecked car I see as a symbol of a missed opportunity and so a missed chance to express some more of your inner potential too, which is what personal growth is about.
    See also http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/personal-growth/
When you repress something “the flood and all the violent weather stop”, but not because you have sufficiently dealt with it.
Repressed aspects merely become part of our Shadow http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/the-archetype-of-the-shadow/
So perhaps you feel like entering this dream again and explore a different outcome using Power Dreaming?

-Ashlee 2015-07-01 4:32:43

I’ve recently had a dream about flooding. I appeared to be in a city downtown, with tall buildings. The water slowly begins to rise, and I’m with a group. However, I’m unsure of their relationship to me. They are strangers, but in my dream I feel as though we all know each other. Possibly coworkers? Anyway, I’m the one taking control and leading everyone to the tallest building I can find. We make it in. As we climb the stairs, the water slowly starts to rise. We make it to the top floor, and the city is now completely flooded. The flooding has stopped. The water has stopped rising. I walk out onto a balcony. I do not see any other people in the city. It is quiet. The group & I begin to look around for supplies in the building. We find food, water, etc. In my dream, I’m wondering if the water will ever go down. I wonder what we’ll do when our supplies are gone. I then wake up. Any insight?

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-07-01 18:38:29

Dear Ashlee – The way I see your dream is that it expresses how you interact with people when you do not recognise who someone is in relationship to you and when you are uncertain about their feelings and intentions.
This uncertainty leads you to not allow letting things happen and to want to be in control of the relationship(s): “I’m the one taking control and leading everyone to the tallest building I can find”.
    See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/control-controlled-controlling/
When you feel you have sufficiently dealt with the situation the fear dissolves – “The flooding has stopped. The water has stopped rising” and “It is quiet” – and you become aware that you have to take care of your (emotional) needs and of changing your approach, for your dream suggests that this “control” approach is a bit outdated.

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-07-01 15:52:58

Dear Adam – Thank you for also sharing something about your waking life and your feelings which is always helpful.
The way I see your dream is that the flood is a symbol of your fear and at the same time a release of positive feelings like love and caring for your girlfriend.
The puppy is also about your need to care for your partner – perhaps even thoughts about wanting a child with her – and at the same time feeling vulnerable and insecure about moving in together and about the form of your relationship.

Please help! I just had a really weird dream. I’m about to leave on a cruise in about a month and had some uneasy feelings about it, so I don’t know if that is why I had this dream or not. In this dream I was in a house I didn’t recognize and in a room (unknown which one ie. Bedroom, bathroom or kitchen) when I notice a hole in the wall with water rushing in. I go outside to find a guy I was friends with in high school and his father and tell them about it. I keep telling them I know it won’t flood the house but I’m worried about the hole being able to be covered when it turns into me then talking to my parents and we go inside and it’s fixed with a board with pictures frames on it. That was the whole dream. At some point I remember being in the room and me walking through waist deep water trying to get to the door but don’t remember me being scared. The water was a normal tap water color and was just rushing in through the hole. I don’t know how the hole got there.

-Ruth 2015-06-15 23:17:21

I dreamt about being in a house, beside a fast flowing river and there was a warning that the river was breaking its banks, so I was fumbling around looking for floatation devices to save myself and there were others with me as well. As I fumbled around I turned and saw that the river had reached the top floor of the house and the people with me were already in the water and I was panicking trying to throw them some things to support them. I was too afraid to get into the water, it was murky and cold and I woke feeling a bit upset and realised I was dreaming. I am studying and have a submission date looming and feeling a bit overwhelmed and afraid what is in store for me when I finish my study. I would appreciate any positive or helpful messages that will help me understand this dream

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-06-17 6:02:44

Dear Ruth – Your dream is an expression of your fear thoughts and more specifically it suggests that you identify with these thoughts to the point that you want “to save them”.
An approach that is helpful is to learn to observe (fear) thoughts – they come and they go. When they come, you have a choice: you can identify with them and feel overwhelmed by them, or you can say “There are those thoughts again. I can watch them come in (my house), and I can just watch them go out again.”
If you use observation you may at time realise that you are cycling through feelings or moods. So it can imply that you are experiencing a cycle which you may be trapped in. The way to get out of this cycle is to step back from it using observation, this is like stepping back and not be lost in the emotions or moods.
    Please read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/self-observation/
You wrote “and feeling a bit overwhelmed and afraid what is in store for me when I finish my study”.
This is like “day dreaming – imagining – in the wrong direction” and so why not start using your power of imagination to create something positive in your inner world first?
Imagination coupled with belief can create a hell on earth, or a heaven here and now. It is what we believe as truth that creates our inner world. This is so obvious in dreams when people run in terror from the creations of their own imagination.
    See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/beliefs/
Imagination changes the shape of the world, penetrates its external solidity to transform its shape and its events into innumerable fresh experiences. Imagination sees the wonderful possibilities in a piece of rock, or some coloured earth, and with them creates art. Imagination discovered the submarine and the motor car long before scientific endeavour developed the technology to manufacture them.
    See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/the-wonder-of-imagination/
    Good Luck!

-Robert Davis 2015-04-08 3:22:30

I just awoke from a horrible dream! I dreamt that all the rivers in a certain town had burst their banks and that I was trying to find all my family, the pain and worry I experienced was unreal! I felt as if I’d never find them! I eventually did, but the banks kept on bursting ! And I’d again round them all up, but with the same torment experienced each time! It felt like a nightmare and so real! What could this mean? I’m a 35 year old man, with 3 children from 3 separate relationships, and I’m just starting out my own business in property maintenance. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you Tony.

    -Anna 2015-04-08 11:09:57

Robert – I am Tony’s assistant 😉 and I hope it is okay for you too that I have a look at your dream.
I feel the dream expresses your anxieties about your new project. I see your trying to find your family as a symbol of working on bringing your positive qualities into focus while simultaneously dealing with your fearful (self-critical?) thoughts.
I think it will be helpful to learn that other people meet their fears as well, when they face a new direction in life:
    http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/airplane/
    QUOTE
Example: A woman who was a radio researcher was offered the job of presenter. She was thrilled but dreamt she was in a road walking and planes flew overhead dropping bombs and shooting. She had to dive into a ditch to avoid being killed. When she explored the dream she realised she was afraid of facing the public directly and this fear if left unconscious would have caused her to refuse the job. She accepted the fear and managed to press forward with the job.
Some thoughts or feelings are not comfortable to become aware of. Personal growth is not a constant delight. There are growing pains occasionally. Observing your own ebb and flow of thoughts and feelings, your own habits and responses to things, is one of the most powerful of tools to use though in transforming your life. This also leads to a fuller connection with your intuitive connection with your core. Much of our behaviour is largely or wholly unconscious. Becoming aware of something can by itself produce a change. If you are not aware of how you act or respond, there is less likelihood of satisfying change.
    Please also read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/habits/
I wish you a whole lot of positive energy and all the best with your new (inner) Project!

Hello Anna, thank you for your reply, I could go into a whole lot more detail about this dream! I appreciate your feedback and take great interest in your reply, I hope I never have a repeat of what I can only describe as a nightmare! Sorry it took so long to reply! Many thanks to you!!! Robert

        -Anna 2015-04-20 5:20:59

Dear Robert – Knowing that you are just starting your new business, I salute you for replying at all.
It would certainly be helpful if you go into more detail with your dream in whatever way, for it will help you to process, release or integrate; with this approach the dream has no need to recur.
In general dreams recur because there are ways the dreamer habitually responds to their internal or external world. Because their attitude or response is unchanging, the dream that reflects it remains the same. It is noticeable in those who explore their dreams using such techniques as described under processing dreams, that recurring themes disappear or change because the attitudes or habitual anxieties that gave rise to them have been met or transformed.
        So whenever you have a spare moment;

Good Luck in both your inner and outer world!

          -Robert Davis 2015-05-01 0:21:31

Hello Anna, it was very strange I remember, it felt like I was in Windsor working with my uncle and another chap who I’ve worked with in the past, who by the way I fell out with previously, and we were working in the chapel at Windsor Castle in the dream the guys were doing an awful job of repairing the stained glass windows I told them this wasn’t good enough and we’d have to start again when all of a sudden water burst in from everywhere!! Flooding the entire place! Then I remember making my way outside and then several rivers and canals all burst their banks!

          -Robert Davis 2015-05-01 0:26:18

          CONTINUED FROM BURST THEIR BANKS!
And then as I said before I had to round up family members my Mum, Dad, sister, partner, 2 ex partners and 3 daughters all from different mothers all up and also one of my step sons and one of my step daughters and as I said before as quick as I could round them up they again would get washed away and I’d struggle to find them again! Extreme panic! Time and time again! I know in the end I got them all to safety, it was strange because my ex wife and current girlfriend, who is also the mother of my youngest daughter were actually getting on well at the end of the dream, when in reality they don’t at all! Very strange! Thank you for your time Anna much appreciated!
          Robert Davis

          -Tony Crisp 2015-05-01 9:28:46

Dear Robert – Thank you for sharing the rest of your dream with us; it does enable me to approach it from another, deeper angle too, for every dream is a little piece of Wonder and has multiple layers.
Each of us has a sense of our relationship with the forces of life within us and the world around us. A chapel may depict this sense and what we do with it. This is our awareness of what is holy or fundamental to all life, and therefore eternal, such as the urge to exist; the cycles of life and growth; reproduction and interdependence. So the church, or entering the church might indicate how you let this wider awareness and impulse flow into you, how you relate to it. Or it might show you opening to its influence.
The chapel may also represent what spiritual qualities or functions you have developed or built in your personality. By spiritual is meant those things that transcend the limitations of your body senses and identity. For instance when you care for another person you are going beyond your own personal needs and desires. This giving of yourself, or receiving from another, transcends your own limitations or boundaries. In this way the church can depict the indwelling wonder of life in each of us that we so often forget or work against.
The physical structure of the church particularly represents these inbuilt qualities.
So the stained glass windows are a symbol for the wonderful way your inner world is designed, showing your precious inbuilt qualities, which qualities have been part of your family for generations.
          See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/the-conjuring-trick/
          QUOTE:
The stained glass of St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, dating from the early 16th century to the later 20th century, is one of its least familiar treasures. The chapel has always been served by the leading artist and craftsmen of the day and in designing for this most distinguished location, successive generations of glaziers have excelled themselves in the quality of their work”.
To be able to recognize these beautiful windows as a part of your inner world too, I like you to understand that every image and person in your dreams is an expression of your own life process. As such it is alive and intelligent and is something sent to help you. A dream is like a projection from a movie projector, except that you are the projector.
Everything you see as outside you is coming from you, your emotions, your fears, your beliefs, your joys and explorations and are all you, clothed in the dream images and drama. So when you dream of someone you should not feel you are dreaming about that actual person. As with most dreams, the person in the dream is not the person themselves, but is a collection of memories, associations and feeling about him or her.
And so something must have damaged this belief, this confidence in your inbuilt qualities and so you made a start to repair/heal it.
When you were not satisfied with the first attempt of healing, you had to go through fear.
The positive side of the fear you went through, is that it gave you a higher awareness, which is also symbolised in Hexagram 51 of the I Ching:
          See http://dreamhawk.com/i-ching/hexagram-fifty-one/
          QUOTE:
“1.Loud noises, like fireworks, can frighten us. Such fear makes us feel insecure, but this passes and through the heightening of feelings the shock produces greater awareness”.
And so you became aware that you need other/more inner resourses to reclaim your confidence in your inner qualities and these you find in your inner family.
It will be helpful to explore what you associate with your uncle and the man you had a conflict with, and with all your inner family members, like your inner parents, your ex partners etc.

Also I feel it may help to explore what you associate with each child. For instance one of your (step) children might be very interested and in touch with nature, animals etc. Another child might be interested in creativity, painting, building with LEGO bricks etc.
I believe that if you give your inner children a place as well in creating and carrying out your project, you can accomplish more and you can be more successful. Using your inner children and having fun in the workplace unleashes your creativity. It can also function as a means of diminishing the tension and stress of personal and professional pressures and responsibilities.
You wrote: “it was strange because my ex wife and current girlfriend, who is also the mother of my youngest daughter, were actually getting on well at the end of the dream, when in reality they don’t at all!”
Well that must have been the positive influence of the flood too, for you were able to release an inner conflict. To understand what your inner female represents in your inner world it will also be helpful to read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-anima-jungs-view-of-the-female-in-the-male/
Robert, I am aware that I gave you a lot to read and reflect on. Do realise though that what only took one dream, will take some more time in your waking life and so be patient with yourself – you do not need to read and take it in all at once – and your inner process. And do trust that other dreams will continue to guide you through your inner process.
          Anna 🙂

what does it mean when you have water on your floor from a flood.

Hi Tony thanks for all your responses so far. They are most insightful. Last night I dreamt I was in a toilet cubicle. It was quite dirty. And I was hovering above the toilet seat to pee. Then all this water started flooding into the toilet cubicle from the ground. I was also seeing into the water. I was trying to stand on the toilet to get away from the dirty urine water, but it kept rising.

Hi Tony
I was wondering if you could help me out on this dream. Just last night I dreamed that me and 3 other people were driving across a lake and somehow the bridge must have collapsed because the car began to flood up to our necks and someone was holding my hand and let go and I went under and came back up but in the dream I didn’t panic. When I looked around I could see the passenger side window was halfway down and the car continued to move and we ended up on dry land…? Thanks:”)
