Title: Clouded Woman
Post by: KingLane64 on February 11, 2018, 05:38:23 PM
Hi,

Just had a dream last night where I was standing in the same room as a woman who was in a bathtub/pool/hot-tub. I could only make out her silhouette as she was clouded by steam/fog (most likely steam as we were inside). I had a device that, when put up in her direction, would reveal a window behind her with a sun shining (but it was low in the horizon, becoming blocked by a house outside). Once I put this device down, I could only see her silhouette behind the steam/fog again.

At the end of the dream, I walked over to her in a pair of shorts (no tshirt) and she swam towards the edge of what she was sitting in. She asked me to wash her hair and then I fell into the pool/tub.

That's where the dream ended and led into another one which is unrelated.

I've never had a dream like this.

KingLane – Being in the same room in dreams means you are sharing similar experiences – in the pool deepens that. It is the way you share experience with other people or are involved with other people. In a real way you are sharing their mind. But of course all the people, animals, places you see in your dreams, are simply your own feelings, fears, hopes and wonder projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind as images. They appear as different people because they are parts of your own nature that are not clear to you - clouded by steam.

A modern view of the personality says that our mind is made up of many modules which are quite distinct. These modules, such as the sexual drive and the ability to speak, usually function in a way which is reasonably integrated. But many areas of dissimilarity are evident if we closely observe the workings of our own responses to life experiences. Because we each hold certain ideas about ourselves – our self image – things we do which do not express this self image may shock or even frighten us.

The device you held was probably a shift of attitudes that gave you a different perspective. You can define the place and the woman more fully by learning to use http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson
