Dream of my pet Max

Hi Tony,
Few days back in the noon while sleeping, I had a terrible dream. It is really important, if you can decipher its meaning for me. I dreamt of my 10 months old golden lab. Someone bought a small dog (something like a Tibetan Spaniel) in the house. We were all, my brother and everyone were playing with her (I suppose she was a female, a bitch). Then I found she has killed Max, and his body was lying in my room, and blood pouring out. And then I was crying uncontrollably. All throughout the dream I was tensed up and unhappy.
We all love Max unconditionally, I don’t want anything to happen to him. He’s like a son to me. Please help me in knowing the meaning of this dream.
