Dream Interpretation / Re: Sea tiger dream
« on: October 16, 2010, 01:00:54 PM »
Ginnie - I am wishing to open the door to that place were dreams are made, and then you would see what goes into them and you would/will understand. And as I read your dream I am moved because it speaks of deep things, destiny and your path in life.

The sea is the surface of the place where dreams are created and arise from - the womb of all life. And your father/grandfather shows you supported by an old wisdom, a mature wisdom. It is because of that that you have the strength not to be terrified of what others would run from; run into waking form their dream.

I believe you have an important task to do in your life, and you will face the darkness and tempest and play a part on healing it. For the darkness and tempest are what the human race is creating.

The grandmother is of course that wonderful and ancient wisdom that mothers have when they listen. And they get even wiser as they deal with their grandchildren. I will only hint at what the garden is. It is a place of growth, of life and new birth. The shed is the workshop of the Gardener, so you are honoured in deed to be there, and working. As it says, "Thy will be done On Earth As It Is In Heaven" So you are making the earth influenced by your work.

I cannot really interpret the tigers. I feel you need to do this yourself, and unlock the meaning of your destiny.

Dream Interpretation / Re: angels
« on: October 13, 2010, 11:56:55 AM »
Kerri – As an old saying goes, “There are many ways of looking at this.”

For instance you could label it as an hallucination; but what is a hallucination except a waking dream. And if you dream of such magnificent angels, I would think that you have created a wonderful healing. In the end there is only one thing in the universe according to quantum physics. That means that the white light, whether it is a dream, an hallucination, a reality, is all the same thing using different words.

I think you are lucky and talented to find this way to deal with worries and go to sleep.

Greetings / Re: You don't know me

Dear Silverskies – I am moved to tears reading what you have said. And I feel a strange love because I have often prayed for those people I felt were there but I had never met or heard from, but have felt a two way connection.

So thank you for making it real for me.

General Discussion / Re: My dream

Tammy – Well, here is a puzzle.

The dirt road suggests that you do not walk the way so many others walk. You have a different view of life and death. That is why the hearse and the little dog are white, and why the hearse is open, because apparently you are not afraid of death.

The little girl is a reminder of you when you were that age. Something happened that gave you a different experience. The dogs are there as the guardians of the man passing over. And the man is partly hidden because – as my muse told me – there are secrets others should not know. Only you know the secret that is hidden from the rest of us. So walk up to him to him and see.

Dream Interpretation / Re: always the same

Amber – Theme dreams are quite common.

Part of the action of dreams is to do your ‘housework’ to keep your house – you – clean. And what causes such long term themes is that the situation that needs attending to have not be done. They can carry on for a life time is not dealt with. A woman in her 50s told me that she had been troubled since childhood by a recurring nightmare. She would be walking down a street she’d known as a child, and pass some railings. There was nothing obviously awful in the dream, yet she always woke up crying and fearful. When she was in her early 40s she told her sister about the dream. Her sister said that when the dreamer was about three they’d both been attacked by a group of boys while near those railings. To stop them, the sister had said not to hurt them because their mother was dead. At this the boys had left them alone, but the dreamer had been badly shocked.
The nightmare stopped as soon as she learnt about the childhood incident from her sister. This suggests that her troublesome dreams were an attempt to make her aware of a part of her past that held unconscious pain or fear.
The ghost and devils are a recognised part of early childhood fears put into the images of demons and haunting. But to understand why you are troubled by them I think it might help if you read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/what-we-need-to-remember-about-dreaming/.

As it says in The New Dream Dictionary - In the world of dreams our most intimate fears and longings are given an exterior life of their own in the form of the people, objects and places of our dream. Therefore our sexual drive may be shown as a person and how we relate to them; or given shape and colour as an object; or given mood as a scene, something that haunts our memory shown as a ghost or demon. Our feeling of ambition might thus be portrayed as a business person in our dream - our changing emotions as the sea or a river; while the present relationship we have with our ambition or emotions is expressed in the events or plot of the dream.

A really interesting dream and comments.

Please have a look at http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/twin/

It has a comment on your blond boy in the picture.

It may have happened however that your link with another life is so strong you have known each other and kept contact in this way. It would be worth asking to meet him by desiring it.

Dream Interpretation / Re: PARASITES
« on: October 08, 2010, 10:38:45 AM »
Picapiedra – Dreams are weird – they don’t care what they say.

The colors are probably saying: It is a living thing (green); dangerous or scary (red); comes from your unconscious (black).

So something that lives off your energy has got into you and is on the way out – but it is fighting for its life. They can be things said, thought or done that make you feel uncomfortable or ashamed; feelings that one is, or someone else is a parasite in a relationship. So they can be fear of illness, attitudes that are life denying such as jealousy, envy, or even anger turned inwards.

One man in class during the chanting said, “As you began the sounds I had the terrifying sensation that you were calling a dark shape out of my body.”

Questioning him afterwards I discovered that he had a fear of a heart problem, and the “dark shape” was probably a representation or embodiment of his fear.

So if you need help in meeting this, ask for help for what you consider the highest.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Avoiding water
« on: October 08, 2010, 10:03:10 AM »
Yes it does, and this is why it is difficult to really explore dreams. So difficult that may therapists simply interpret them with words or advice.

We all have an instinctive reaction to avoid pain - pull our hand away when touching something hot - but emotions can be allowed if we learn or are supported. Dreams are so full of passionate feelings when we get behind the images. After all, we ARE Life and life is a passionate affair. That is why many people and doctors suggest anti-depressants. In that way the person can slowly meet themselves.

But I want to add that if we can walk through all the water in your dream - all the emotions - it is a wonderful experience. Not only is it a release, but also like and enlightenment because you realise so much about yourself. See http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/lifes-little-secrets/

Dream Interpretation / Re: Dream of deceased grandparents
« on: October 08, 2010, 09:56:35 AM »
Susan – Obviously you have the ability to communicate with your grandparents. But the first dreams were very clearly an indication of someone going. So I feel there is a shift in your communications as they are not directly about death, but more like visits.

The business about your mother and arguing with her is though, a borderline situation. So I suggest you ask for a dream to clarify this. Because your mother has such a deeper connection with you, it might be more difficult for you to get a clear dream if it does indicate her death. But asking for clarity could cut through the difficulty.

Hopefully the fact that you have such clear indications that death is not the end will make it easier. Though, as I say, it may be just a visit.

Saintaluna - This more of the same lovely dreaming. The rain means it is a pouring out of your feelings, which you seem to accept easily. But the face still alludes you, but maybe you are getting closer.

Now be warned - this might be the man only of your dreams. In other words the hidden male within you; a move toward wholeness. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-animus-jungs-view-of-the-male-in-the-female/ - to understand this. And that is only a warning not to fall in love with any male. It is to say until you find wholeness you might be mistaken in your love.

But if it is not, keep watching your dreams.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Party
« on: October 07, 2010, 09:36:52 AM »
Dear BeachGirlForever - As I said in my replying, I do not know what you are feeling, so I made up an example to show how dreams work. Sorry if my example shocked you.

So, what you say now throws a completely different light on it. I think it would be good sometimes to have a much faster question time  while online. So it seems as if your dream has a very definite meaning. It, like all dreams, isn't worried about social niceties. So in your dream you allowed yourself the contact you wanted, and then wanted to hide it from your present boyfriend. If you keep having such dreams I would suggest a change of direction - back to the ex.

Hi BeachGirlForever – When you dream you are in different world entirely. So don’t get the idea of your ex get mixed up with what your dream means. He is only a wonderful living virtual reality your dreams use to tell you something. And you dreams are about those subtle feelings we attach to everything and everybody around us.

So supposing you attached the feeling to your ex that he was a loser and you didn’t want any thing to do with him; or that he gave you status but that was all. Well then the dream would read like this: I was at a social occasion and became intimate with the feeling of being a loser, but then it left a mark that I didn’t want anybody else to see – that I am a loser.

Okay, I am not suggesting you are a loser, but as I do not know what feelings you do associate with your ex I can only say that the relationship left a mark you wish to cover  up.
