P.

In the dream, a friend has a terrible accident where the glass cabinet and all the glassware break. There are pieces of glass all over falling like rain and his hand is damaged badly by a shattered glass bowl .In the dream I get the feeling that time has been turned and that it’s the same day again when the accident occurred and this time we can prevent the bowl from breaking and prevent the accident from happening. The man, his wife and I are all together that day to prevent the accident from occurring if possible.

I would like to understand this… Since nothing can actually hurt us in dreams then why should we bother trying to prevent the accident?

Why would time have turned back to before the accident in the dream?

Thank you.

P – Perhaps because if we know an outcome before it happens we can prevent it. This has been done several times. Most of us feel that time is absolute and we simple have to accept what happens, but modern physics such as quantum has shown a different view. Dreams often demonstrate this, for example humans live in two very different dimensions. The one most people identify with is the three dimensional physical world of the body. There a lot of rules to learn in this world; when very young we learn not to touch hot things; not to rush out into a road with moving cars. But as adults we have learnt not to step out into space while at a height because we will fall and have a major injury or die.

In wider awareness of dreams and the mind you leave the limited view of the three dimensional world most of us are trapped in, and enter a world beyond time and space. So forget the clumsy explanations of telepathy and precognition, for they are explanations from the body’s limited senses. Beyond time we are aware of all time, past, present and future – all at once. So we do not look into the future, but are it. Our body life is to learn important lessons by being locked in time, space and our body, with its gender and limitations. See https://dreamhawk.com/news/there-is-a-huge-change-happening/

But here is a personal experience. My wife and I wanted to sell our house and advertised nationally. No results, but having spent so much and got nothing for it we were stuck. That night my wife dreamt that if we put up a for sale notice in our window the first couple who walked past would purchase the place.

My wife made no move to do anything – she didn’t believe – but I put a notice up and that evening a young couple knocked on our door and said they were interested. Later they got their mortgage and bought the house.

In another dream, "One day, while visiting in Bay City, Tex., I awakened with the following dream which I reported to my hostess after praying for protection and increased awareness in driving. (Prayer alerts the unconscious.)

I was driving my car and had just come around a curve behind a black car. For some reason, I increased my speed to pass the black car in front of me. The car was on my right as I passed it, and then I came upon an accident ahead and was stopped by a policeman who gave me a "warning" ticket and admonished me to slow down.

That same afternoon I drove back to Houston and just as I rounded a curve on Memorial Drive I came up behind a black car. The driver was moving slowly, and as the road ahead was clear, I stepped on the gas to pass the car on the left. It was on my right. Just as I was abreast of the car, the woman driver, without any signal, suddenly turned left. Because of the prior warning, I saw her in time to turn my wheel to the left also, thus averting an accident.

The policeman in the dream represented my higher self, warning me against the possibility of an impending accident. Had I been less prepared, there is no doubt that the policeman on the scene would have been a reality."
