Riding A Young Bull
« on: Today at 12:32:23 AM »
I was at a rodeo. It was busy environment, lots of bulls, riders, noise, and excitement. I had no idea I was going to be a rider but it was as if I was chosen to ride this certain bull. He was light tan in colour, so beautiful and young. I rode him as if he was a horse with no saddle. We had a special connection. I held onto his neck. I was so natural on his back and he went so fast and smooth. He could read every subtle command I gave him and we won every race. I pulled up next to the owner and I had to ask him: 'what's the correct way to dismount a bull?' - he was surprised that I didn't know because he saw how well I could ride. I ended up just dismounting like I would a horse. The bull reached down and kissed me gently on the cheek and everyone was delighted by it - giggling and smiling. My father was there and he was looking on delighted and surprised.
