Just wondering why my dream recall would reduce dramatically? From lots of dream recall to practically none..
To reduce stress on my system of processing difficult emotions?
To get me to focus on waking life more?
Because the unconscious does not need to be heard right now?
Because the conscious is still integrating the previous material?

This is very common with vitamin and/or mineral deficiencies. Have you stopped taking a vitamin lately or changed your diet in some way? One man I chatted online with about this noted that he recently ran out of a B complex that he was taking.
Or it might be that you have been doing this awhile and am more easily able to access your unconscious while you are awake. That happens too.

Hi Christine, no no dietary change.
'Able to access the unconscious while awake' ..what does that mean? Please tell more. Thanks!

Seeing images or words in your minds eye, for example. It could be a screen shot of a dream while awake or even a dream clip. If you have a heightened sense of intuition and it is on during the day you might not need to dream so much.

Omega - I used to remember three a day or more dreams. But now I only remember one every few weeks. But there are two types of dreaming, the REM dream which is full of images and scenes, and the NREM dream which has no images, but is experienced as long thoughts without images.
I experience these a great deal now. Maybe you are experiencing these type of dream, or your unconscious is summing up and doesn't need to press on yet, perhaps because it/you have work to do inside????
I'm guessing.
