Dream Interpretation / To travel amongst the stars
« on: October 26, 2014, 01:27:34 AM »
Hi again Tony

I'll just start of by saying I very seldom have reoccurring dreams. However the last 4 nights I have revisiting the same dream, not exactly the same events but the theme reoccur.

I am traveling the stars, I am alone in a spaceship and I simply travel amongst the stars. I am not bothered by the fact that I am alone. Nor do I come in contact with anyone as I travel. I am simply traveling because I can, and I want to soak up every single sight there is to see out there in vastness of space.
The experience is immensely comforting, and I am left with a sense of joy and fulfilment when I wake up. Even as the mundane waking life is filled to the brim with problems these days, I can't but hope that every night will take me out into that vast empty darkness.
Is it simply my mind dealing with the altogether more real problems of my life. As to enabling me to see solutions? After these last 4 days of dreaming of outer space, I can tell you that my mind has changed. So has my view of myself, my relationship with others, and helped me see a disaster in the making stemming back to poor decision making this year.

Before these dreams I was sure my current path was the right path. Now I know with every ounce of my body, that my prior convictions were wrong, horribly wrong. I must now set right what was made wrong, or I fear that the future will indeed look grim.

Again thank you Tony, the related links proved insightful!

@anna

I would have to say no. This was a "beast" of an entirely different kind. Where the stone face of the woman felt benevolent, even though frightening. The man in this dream had an aura of evil around him. To the point where it felt like you could smell it.

Dream Interpretation / Intrusion of the mind

Hi

Been a while since my last post, but last night's dream was to odd for me to let go.

I remember being taken to a youth house of sorts. I can't remember for what reason, but I were to spend some time there. One or more people convinced me to sleep, in a manner that I would imagine hypnosis would work.
I stayed there for a while, making friends with other teenagers. The man running the house would probe my mind in a casual way. Questions about me and others.
One night at the house the man that ran the house brought me a new computer, top of the line tech. I knew it to be a ploy to soften my resolve, so later in the evening when it was time for sleep he returned. He started asking me questions again, I felt like my mind was divided into consciousness and unconsciousness. It literally felt like an intruder in my mind, one that in some way had slipped in his act. And now I could fully perceive him.
At that point I felt I had to escape, and the only way was for me to fall asleep. So in my dream I forced myself to sleep. I could sense the man's anger as I left his grasp.

Finally free of whatever was holding me, I managed to wake up. I felt scared because it felt like someone had been in my mind. I would like to point out that I am no longer a teenager, far from it. But computers was my main interest when I was one.

Odd dream indeed.

Sorry for the very late "thank you Tony" life has been more hectic than I wished for. I've read all your links and I greatly appreciate the time you gave looking into my mind so to speak.

I hope I can visit this place of wonder again, for its allure does not give in.

Dream Interpretation / The sarcophagus beneath the sea
« on: May 28, 2014, 10:14:56 AM »
Hi again

So this dream is about 6 months old. The playful raven and this dream really made an impact on me.

I was traveling or rather falling downwards, I fell through the sea and continued through the earths crust and mantle until reached a world within our world. What would have been the earth's core was instead the sun. It felt like such an ancient place.

My journey started to slow down as I approached a wooded area, in the middle there was a stone sarcophagus, I came to stop next to it. I went over to look at it, and it was indeed ornate. On its top it had the face of a woman whom had long hair and elegant features.
As I looked into the face I for some reason felt like "reaching" out to the spirit, I don't know why I decided to do so. I focused on the face and my gaze fell into the stone eyes, I closed my eyes and there in my mind the stone eyes came to life, and they looked deep into me. I remember the eyes conveying the words "I see you" and I felt something grab hold of my entire body.
At this point I woke up because I became scared, I feel sad that I became scared because it really felt like I was in contact with something of old.

And that should be it in terms of places my mind take me while I sleep, for now anyways.

Thank you Tony for your reply as well as links that I am reading with my breakfast.

I will post one more dream later today, I had it 6 months ago but I remember it vividly to this day. Hope you won't mind too much.

Dream Interpretation / The playful raven

Greetings

I often have weird dreams and I tend to remember a lot of them. However the one I had three days ago really stuck with me. Since the dream involves a raven and thoughts of old wildy differ from thoughts of new, I am unable to grasp its meaning. Hence I ask for help.
I will let you know that where I am from, the old mythology did not see ravens as harbringers of death. I am also truely drawn to the bird, people hate bringing me to a zoo because I just want to look at the ravens.

So for the dream then:

I lived in a house near a field and a forrest, a raven lives in the tree next to the house. The raven and me "play" together, meaning we play tricks on eachother. Ie hiding my keys, watersquirt trap for the raven and so on. There was a lot of laughter from both sides, we enjoyed eachothers company. After fun and games were over I sat down on the ground, the raven was flying around wildly then it came and settled near me.
It then went on to jump onto my lap, and wanted to be cuddled with. Much like your cat or dog would do.

And that is basically it, I can't understand the the relation to my waking life. There is preasure and tough times ahead, but I don't see how the reaven fits into all of this.

Any ideas?
