Questions about dreams / I have "stopped" dreaming for over a year now ...

Aloha Tony,
I am really glad to have found your site. I have been really bothered lately by the fact I feel I have "stopped" dreaming. I know this is impossible, but I have no recollection of my dreams. It has probably been about a year now, perhaps even more where I have not been remembering or interacting with my dreams. I am wondering what my soul is doing during my sleeping time. The only dreams I have been having, and remember are all within the same theme and are of an ex lover really judging me. I seem to only remember the negative and painful dreams which are not often, but I find it is odd that these are the ones I can recall when I wake up.
I used to have very spiritual dreams and feel I connected with my guides but it has been so silent. I am worried about where my soul is going during my sleeping time. If you have any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Once in a while (maybe four or five times in the past year) I have had very short lucid dreams but they are nothing that I can control, I am just aware that it is a dream.
Any guidance you could offer would be such a great help
Thank you so much,
Chelsea
