Dream Interpretation / Locked out!
« on: May 02, 2013, 10:04:04 PM »
Last night I dreamt I got the bus home to a block of apartments (unknown).  I went up to the door which had a very confusing locking system, the door itself was like a safe with multiple buttons etc.  I took out my key and went to put it in the keyhole and on doing so a very loud alarm started to ring.. it was piercing loud.  I had to phone my partner and ask him to come home and open the door.  Interesting my dream used someone completely different other than my real partner, it used a friend I have on Facebook!   Anyway to cut a long story short, today I left my house to go grocery shopping and just as the hall door closed behind me I realised I had left the key inside and locked myself out... could this have been precognitive? was the alarm in my dream warning me I was going to do this in reality?  I found the whole thing very amusing.   :)

Hi Mikey thank you.. yes definitely makes a lot of sense!!  Interesting dream last night which was a follow on from this dream.. I dreamt of a man with huge muscles on his arms, definitely strong and powerful enough to shift the heavy load, I woke up feeling much better  :)

I'm not sure what was going to happen as my alarm had woken me up.. but I went back into the dream and replayed the huge tire coming at me.. somehow I was like liquid so it just passed through me with no harm done!

Thanks again  ;D

Dream Interpretation / Re: Trapped!
« on: April 30, 2013, 02:57:44 PM »
I was lying on the path which shows I am being passive because I cannot see the way out.  The lorry trying to turn I understand is showing that I am trying to turn things around but inability to see the light is holding me back.  Afraid of being torn apart in the process of making positive change I ly there wondering, will my life end as I know it? my fears are holding me back so I must find my inner strength, reach up with both palms and push that heavy load away from me.. then I am free to get up and start walking my path instead of taking it lying down.  :)

Dream Interpretation / Trapped!
« on: April 30, 2013, 02:44:46 PM »
I was lying on the ground, I think a path, it was dark because I was under a huge lorry.  The lorry was trying to turn and had no idea I was under it.  It was almost on top of me and I worried it was going to tare me apart.  I had no escape because the underneath was so low.  I saw one of its back tyres coming for me and I wondered if it was going to kill me.. then I woke up.

I can't make sense of this dream other than feeling things are really starting to get on top of me.. a huge sense of responsibility that is weighing me down, with no real way out.. mostly financial!

Is this all there is to it?  :)  I would appreciate any of your insights.. thanks so much x

Dream Interpretation / The Matrix of the mind.
« on: March 29, 2013, 11:59:42 AM »
I had a very upsetting dream last night :( I dreamed it was the end of the world and all life as we knew it. Looking at the world I began to see it as nothing more than just an illusion, like a matrix which was starting to disintegrate all around me. I knew we were all to leave our immortal body and go to the next world which was our real home. My children and ex husband were scheduled to go before me which made me feel a little frightened leaving me on my own. I cradled my youngest in my lap and told her not to worry, I won't be far behind her and to wait for me on the other side where we'll be together again. My eldest daughter went first, her body just disappeared and as I held my youngest crying, she gently faded away untill she was just gone. I sat looking at the empty space on my lap for a moment and got up. I then saw my ex husband and told him as he faded that I have and always will love him, he nodded and dispersed into the atmosphere like star dust leaving me all alone. The night sky now looks like a mesh of green squares which reveals to me the illusion that once was the beautiful starry night. My loved ones now gone I await my turn patiently, walking away from all my worldy belongings as I know deep inside I have no need for them where I am going. Then I hear a voice say, it is not your time to leave this existance and I feel a sense of panic for all that I love is gone and I am now completely alone in this frightening lonely place. I think to myself, it's OK, they will wait, only here is there a sense of time, for them it won't feel like twenty years passing, I must be patient.

I awoke from this dream feeling a sense of profound sadness, as though a part of me had died. I understand the dream and it's meaning. Not long after a broken marriage and in a new relationship the dream reveals to me a sense of a "false" family unit. Although in my mind it tries to create a true feeling of what a family unit should be, it might look the same from the outside but the mechanics and feeling that go with it can't even come close. The dream was unsurfacing the feelings associated with the death of my family unit and my real feelings of what it is now, close but not the same. I feel so much pain this has gone from my life forever but that can only be my own perception, this world I had created as a result of my own conditioned beliefs and family values.. take away all that is seen, the imagery and false images to reveal what the dream is really saying.. love is all there is, love is infinite, when all is lost, love never dies and we must always hold onto that no matter what, cherish it, cradle it and never forget it, love is what we are.. when the world as we know it crumbles to the ground only love remains.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Scary dream of Lots of Grey Owls
« on: March 16, 2013, 09:11:09 PM »
What a fantastic dream Molly.. did you look up the meaning of "Owl" in your dream? :)  "Because the owl sees in the dark it represents our intuitive sense that ‘sees’ what is happening in the subtle areas of our feeling and experience. This sense ‘feeds’ by watching or acting as an integrating function with the many dark or hidden aspects of our experience and behaviour. Because this part of our mental process is aware of the hidden activities in the depths of our body and mind, it can initiate our conscious self into the mysteries of life and death. If one can imagine having a council of all living things, we would all have in common the drive to reproduce, and there would be huge links of understanding regarding care and rearing of young and perhaps of love for mate. The unconscious seems to have a sense of this synthesis of all life, and the owl, representing it, speaks with this sort of collective wisdom; a wise advisor.

Because the owl as a dream symbol is an actual doorway to the usually hidden side of life, we may sometimes feel fear or danger in regard to it. In some mythologies the owl was connected with death, and might act as a messenger regarding the death of a family member. For instance in Jewish tradition it is unlucky to dream of an owl, but okay to dream of any other bird."

You ran down the stairs laughing.. meeting an intuitive aspect to yourself rising from the unconscious, with a light hearted attitude.. you realise the strength of this new part of your being and you become scared so you try to close the door on it, shutting it out, afraid of your own power.. then you take the owl and break it in half, showing how you are on two minds about how to go about using this new aspect of the self.

Hope this helps!

Dream Interpretation / A quickie!!! :)
« on: February 23, 2013, 07:23:37 PM »
This is really short.. in my dream I found a pair of earrings on the floor, found one first and then spotted the other.  I picked them up and had a good look at them.. they were shaped like strawberries and sparkled.. as if made of some kind of jewel.  I popped them into a box labelled "lost & found" up on a shelf knowing they would be claimed.  :)

My own thoughts on this is something I had lost, connected to my own inner hearing, that which enabled me to listen to my own intuition/Spirit.. berries being that they nourish ourselves from within so I have once again found something that will nourish my being on a deep level..

any other thoughts welcome, thank you kindly x

Dream Interpretation / The aliens have landed!
« on: February 20, 2013, 10:46:57 AM »
Hi there.. I received this dream from a friend of mine and I feel it's best to get feedback from those who don't know him as I am aware of what's going on in his life at the moment.  I would be so grateful to you all for any feedback you may be able to add, thanks so much x

I had a "waking dream" yesterday evening and again last night when I got into bed. I saw this huge "alien ship" like the one in War of the Worlds" land on the hills behind me. I ran upstairs to get my wife & the kids out of their beds and get some warm clothing on them. We all ran down stairs and I bundled them into the pantry which is between the kitchen and the utility room.

I grabbed a duvet on the way down from the bedroom and threw that over us & told every to keep still and quiet. I locked the door but could hear noises on the roof, like someone crawling up the roof tiles. I could also see under gap at bottom of the door a red beam sweeping across the floor of the kitchen. I opened the door very slightly and could see staring out into the living room and there was a huge alien type (it looked like the alien from Predator only worse) and he was scanning the room with a red scattered beam. I could see a car passing the front of the house and the alien turned around & evaporated the car into nothing.

I called the Gardai (police) and told them what was happening and they said that they couldn't come until the Armed Response Until was available. I then heard my neighbours house being crushed by the spaceship and then the one next to it, the same. The alien was then joined by two more and I knew they were going to break in and attack from different parts of the house. Meanwhile the spaceship was hovering over my house as I could feel the vibrations of it.

I sneaked out of the pantry and made my way along the kitchen floor over to the back door & window to see what I could see... I popped my head up and saw the sky was full of these spaceships and remember thinking that we and the rest of humanity were finished!

Hi Tony,

Thank you so much for your wonderful interpretation, it makes a lot of sense to me!  I have met with many of these different characters and some that have not been mentioned also.  I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and I will take my time now to reflect on each dream character.. the murderer worries me a little, is she the one who kills off different aspects of my own thought & feeling world? are they always negative?  I need to think on this.

Thanks again and God bless x

Dream Interpretation / Re: Last night's dream has stumped me. HELLLPPP!
« on: January 18, 2013, 10:54:05 AM »
Hi there!

This to me sounds like a re-birthing dream, you have been brought back to the moment of your birth and what you are seeing on your torso could possibly be the view you had on exit from your Mother.  Always a very positive thing to experience in a dream, a new beginning for you? can you relate to this?  Are you beginning a new journey in life?    :)

Dream Interpretation / Coming down the mountain :)
« on: January 18, 2013, 10:34:45 AM »
In my dream there was news of a murder, I had a great curiosity about this so I boarded a train at the foot of a mountain close to where I live.  Although it is a mountain there are many housing estates resting on it.  On the train there are many people, all standing.  We are all looking at one another, wondering could one of us be the killer?  Then someone points to a German lady and says "it could be you" and she starts to laugh.  I feel people looking at me thinking the same, because I am so quiet.  As the train stops we all get off and I decide to make my way back down the mountain in search of a bus stop.

I now have a back pack and walking as if I am hiking in the hills.  I come across a small village, there are seven men on a corner where I need to walk and I am nervous of them.  One tries to grab me and I run out into the road and get hit by a small yellow mini.  Then a small moped (motorbike) pulls in and I get on the back with someone who drives past all the men who are still after me.  We stop and I get off and realise it's a woman driving the motorbike, I thank her.  Then she has a bicycle and says she will guide me to the bus stop.  I am following her and another woman then appears.  I am on foot and they are cycling so I try hard to keep up.

We then arrive at some building with many flights of stairs, walking in I see a shadow behind me of one of the women with what appears to be a hammer, she was about to strike me on the back of the head with it but I turn around and grab it from her just in time.  She begs me not to call the police, I say why would I you saved my life from those men.

I then make my way on my own and see a river flowing so decide to let that guide me back down the mountain.  Then to the left of the river I see many African people, they are digging the ground.  I walk up to a big lady and expect her not to speak any English because she looks a different nationality.  I ask her where can I find the bus stop and with a great British accent (I'm Irish) she says ah yes, just down there a bit.. I feel relieved, thank her and walk on down the mountain.  Then I wake up!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance  ;D

Dream Interpretation / Re: Black wedding dress
« on: January 18, 2013, 10:05:47 AM »
Hi Anchy  :)

Where you are seated in the car is also relevant as it shows your feeling about control in your own life.  Were you in the "driving seat"? are you in control?  Also what type of car/colour etc.

When we think back to our childhood and many times spent in a friends garden playing, a place where we felt happy, at peace, protected and secure.  In order to make this a part of your every day life there are emotional hurts that you need to face from your childhood and focus on healing them so you can be at peace.  The age of the childhood friend will give an indication of what age you need to regress to and see what was happening in your life at that time, what painful experiences were you going through?

People dancing in the garden is asking you to be happy and celebrate your life instead of giving more attention to the negatives as depicted by the black wedding dress.

I am very new to this Anchy and you are my first on this site, thank you for sharing your dream  ;)
