Dream Interpretation / Breathtaking stars
« on: October 23, 2013, 11:02:42 PM »

I wanted to share one on my most pleasant dreams.

I am in a meadow at the top of a hill at night. I lay with a group of people that I do not know . They are the so-called people of good company . One of these boy is “destined” for me and I am very skeptical about it. I take the whole bunch of the upper classes with mild contempt .
We are looking at the stars. They are amazingly beautiful. The whole sky is covered with them, glistening and shimmering as if they were made of glitter. We fall silent for a moment to admire them - the view is really breathtaking. I break the silence saying something about their beauty and “my” boy replies. I say something about the fact that the stars are priceless, as I know that he is very rich and I want to make him feel bad, but then I realize that actually he did not mean anything about their price. I was only prejudiced and unfairly, I wanted to make fun of him. This causes that I look at him again and see an new person. At the same time I am totally captivated by the stars.
After waking up, I felt that the dream was as real as the reality to which I woke up and I was still impressed by the beauty of the stars.

What could it mean?

Dream Interpretation / Three Tornadoes
« on: June 26, 2013, 10:27:10 AM »
I am in a house I have never seen before with some people, maybe my relatives or friends. We are up to something when I notice through the window that in our direction are coming three tornadoes. I am starting to warn everybody around, closing the windows and hiding some stuff, but the people are ignoring me.
Then the tornadoes hit the house, I feel the strange feeling when you are losing the ground under your feet, the house, its whole construction, swings from one side to another and suddenly stops.
I walk out from the house into the streets and start to look for my family. There are lots of people, but I find my mother and father quite easily and we join the crowd, happy that nothing bad happened.

That is a dream I had last night and I would be grateful for any thoughts on this.

Thank you very much for your interpretation Sailrmc!
I was actually positively struck by your statement
In your early childhood, you were fortunate to have a very positive influence...
I dreamt about that friend some time ago and was wondering why did she appear in my dreams after not seeing her for so many years - I think that now I understand why. When I think of it now, it was that kind of childhood friendship that is as honest and true as it can be - where no masks of persona are worn and where you have no secrets. Her presence in the dream may be my need for a friend like that in a time of "balancing".

My best regards,

Questions about dreams / Inner places
« on: February 12, 2013, 10:46:54 AM »
Hello everyone!

I wanted to share what I experienced lastly and ask whether it occurs to you as well.

When I was little my dreams were very vivid and I used to remember them very often. Then, growing up I used to write down in my diaries the ones that somehow moved me deeply or left wondering about their meaning, but I could not recall many of them.
I have started to keep my dream diary 9 months ago. Not trying to interpret every each of them, I am keeping an eye on them.
What I found extremely fascinating is that some of my dreams, that are happening in a totally abstract places created by my imagination are later bringing up memories of my past dreams, that I thought I have forgotten.
Like for example, today I had a dream where I walk with my sister through the streets of the city that is not a real place. When I woke up, I realized that in some way I had dreamed before about this place, even though it looked completely different (instead of streets I was on a big square with a fountain in front of the museum) - like I was visiting the other part of it. The amazing thing is that I could not remember that dream about the “big square” until I have dreamt about walking on the streets of that Place.
I do not know if I have explained it well, but it is like I am now recollecting the images of my inner, dream places.

Dream Interpretation / Factory in the woods
« on: February 11, 2013, 10:28:29 AM »
Hello everyone!
I had this dream yesterday and it somehow bothers me. Especially because the day before I had a very positive dream, where a turtle told me to be brave - which I have interpreted as an encouragement for showing my feelings instead of hiding them deeply what I used to do. Anyways, after that I had this one which I find very disturbing. Maybe that is a sign that I am still not ready to let go of my fears? Any insights will be appreciated, especially because this one is quite long ;)

I am in a clearing at the edge of the forest that grows on hills and I am sentenced to be in this place as a punishment.
Then I find myself somewhere in the depths of the forest. I stand in the line with other people and I feel that somewhere between them there is my friend E. from childhood. There is also a guy, a bad character, that we all fear, and who shows an interest for me, and finally there is another boy (that I do not know in real life), who is close to me and for who I care. We stand altogether in a queue in front of a metal-wood construction. Our task is to sit down, one after another, on a rope that is hanged between two wooden columns. We have to take a funnel-shaped bowl off the hook, that is hanged above the rope and carry it, sitting on a rope. The task is to pour what is inside the bowl into a big tank at the end of the rope. When my turn comes, I have no idea how to deal with the task - the hook seems to hang too high for me to reach it. The boy, whom everyone is afraid of catches me, settles me on the rope, gives the bowl and sits down beside me. We are somehow moving on the rope towards the big container. I look inside the funnel-shaped bowl that I am carrying – it is filled with pinkish pulp. When I am pouring it into the big tank, I realize that the pulp is partially composed of the human flesh. Horrified by this I barely get down from the rope. I lean on the tree, close to the queue. The “bad character” loses interest in me. Everyone in the queue looks at me with a pity and a little bit of compassion, because I did not realize what is going on from the beginning.
I am in another part of the forest. I live there in a tent with the guy who I care about. My sister visits us with a little child (this is not my real sister in the dream). I leave them and go somewhere down the hill and from now on I observe the situation from the perspective of the boy. My sister commiserates with us, but she knows that nothing can be done to improve our situation. She begins incensing our tent with some protective herbs that look like lavender. The boy and my sister are talking friendly to each other which makes me a little bit jealous.
I have left the forest and I am in a small town. I enter to first fast food restaurant on my way and I look at their offer. Suddenly I realize that the hamburgers served there are made from the pulp produced in the forest. At this point, a boy on my right speaks to me. I look at him surprised. He tells me that we know each other from the forest, and that he was with a group 4, and I may not remember him because my group was hopeless and yet very domineering. I want to explain him that my group was not that bad, because my friend E. (the one from childhood) was with me, but I do not say anything.

Dream Interpretation / The White Temple
« on: January 29, 2013, 10:54:46 PM »
I had this dream recently. I will be glad to hear any insights on what it could mean.

I am in my home town, where I sleep in my room. I wake up and go to the living room. Looking around I see my dad sitting on the couch and reading something, my mom going around half-dressed and my sister completely dressed and ready to go. She says that as we all agreed, we will shortly go to my grandmother. I decide that I will not be ready that soon and deeply offended that they did not wake me up, I go out alone. I am heading the city where my grandmother lives. I reach a place that I know, but the area looks completely different. It looks abandoned and dangerous. In front of me there are some kids running and I think that they can attack me. I walk towards them where I can see the level crossing. When I am approaching, I realize that I will have to wait until the train passes. Behind my back I can hear a car coming, where some youngsters listen to a loud music and they behave loudly. Not wanting to wait in their company I walk right into a field. There is a mysterious white building. Something like a tall tower, or a temple. I climb up the stairs and sit at the threshold. Then the door opens a bit and I see an Asian woman, that is dressed in white robes and seems to be a priestess. She invites me in with a gesture and I enter the building. The inside is gloomy with the torches on the walls. As we walk, we are passing other priestesses, some standing near the walls. I look at two of them passionately kissing when I hear a voice of the Main Priestess/ Queen of this place – “What is so surprising?”. I look at her. She is in the recumbent posture at the top of a monument.
I am back at the entrance to the temple. This time, male priest leads me into the building. Inside the other priests are flirting and kissing. We arrive at the place where the Queen was before. There are men having sex with each other and in the middle there is a big foam (shaped like Jabba from Star Wars) and it says something about me being surprised.
Then I started to dream about something completely different.

Dream Interpretation / Re: A figure on the top of pyramid

Thank you very much for your interpretations, they both have been helpful.

Greetings / Hello everyone!

I am so glad that I found this website and forum. I have been writing down my dreams for a while as an experiment  whether they can really tell me something more about myself.
So far I am very surprised by the results and I keep writing down my dreams in a journal. The dreams that I think I understand already helped me a lot with self-actualisation, although there are still many that I do not understand at all. That ones I will share and ask for some help with them.
English is not my native language, so sorry for the mistakes  ;)

Dream Interpretation / A figure on the top of pyramid
« on: January 14, 2013, 12:08:38 AM »
I'm in an exotic place, surrounded by trees and different kinds of plants.
Once I am an observer, a man who leads two girls or one of the girls. We reach together a place where something begins to happen. On the empty clearing a pyramid begins to grow up. It rotates slowly while growing; one the walls is smooth, on the others the steps are formed. At the top sits a figure, which apparently is some kind of ancient deity or idol. The man says to us (girls) that we have to be cautious from now on and do what he says, because the idol is guileful and we will probably have to fight with him. We enter naked into the water in front of the pyramid and begin to bathe, the idol joins us. From the side everything seems idyllic, but a sense of awe and mystery is hanging in the air.
