Dream Interpretation / Heiros gamos dream
« on: October 30, 2020, 03:54:42 PM »
Hi Tony,
Thank you for your section on the sacred marriage,it has helped me enormously in understanding this dream.

I am embracing a being,I say being because she felt as though she came from another world.
I did feel she was more feminine than Male though.
The thing that set her apart from the ordinary, was that she was radiating a very powerful white/silvery light & I cant begin to describe the love that eminated from her.
I knew we were to be married soon, and that our children from this union would be I quote "intelligent ".
I new this meant knowledge on waking.
I know most of our experience is dual in nature,matter/spirit, inner/outer etc, this is how it has been for me,I have seen it so to speak, but I am here,  it is somewhere else  & the marriage/union  is a metaphor for the disappearence of the gap,
As always this is my kneejerk reaction to the dream based on my limited knowledge & understanding,
It's not a long dream or a complicated one,but it did hold tremendous power & meaning for me.
I am always in awe of this type of symbology in dreams,as it seems ancient & shakes the very foundations on which our egos stand.
As always I look forward to any help, comments etc.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Mass extinction
« on: September 14, 2020, 11:01:33 AM »
Hi Anna,
Thank you so much for your reply,I will trust the process as you say,no matter what, the dream has given me that,
I feel more confident now, knowing that the processes at work are leading me to where I ought to be,that I can trust it,I say IT in the broad context,
your uncanny ability to see through the dream play, you have helped me along more then you know, along with Tony's sage wisdom,
I wouldnt say I have become a dream expert though, far from it,
And You are the wonderful one.
Thank you

Dream Interpretation / Mass extinction
« on: September 10, 2020, 01:34:10 PM »
Hi everyone,I hope you are all staying safe ,
I had a dream the other day, which contained a mass extinction  event,I have put aside any connection to the current situation regarding covid as that would be too easy,as to me dreams are symbolic, metaphoric, in  nature ,seldom exact in nature apart from emotion feelings etc these are not symbolic, having said that,I have say i am no expert,I have found on numerous occasions just when I think I understand a dream,it falls apart, this is why I come here,a problem shared ,is a problem halved they say,
I am grateful that there is a common sense place of help & learning as with Toni's sight,& of course every bodies input, which I gratfully seek now..
My dream.
I am at a large gathering,a spiritual sort of gathering, like minded people from all over the world,
We are awaiting the arrival of something, namely,a group of aliens in a UFO who have invited us all here to meet them.
They arrive,to my shock & horror they start to fire lasers at everyone to wipe us all off the face of the planet, folks are running away all directions but are getting  hit by the lasers,I realise this is an mass extinction event,
I do not know what to do,or where to go as no safety anywhere,
I hear a  voice,it talks to me,and I quote, the only way you can survive is to turn around,& make the sign of the cross,
I understood this to mean,to stand with my arms outstretched to the side as if I am a a cross.
This I did, despite being shot at by the aliens/UFO I remain unharmed.

Putting aside the religious symbol meaning of the cross, the  stance I took,  one of unmoving acceptance & passive surrender to the moment.
This is all new symbology for me,trying to relate to it,
As always any input would be great.

Dream Interpretation / End of innocence
« on: December 15, 2019, 10:21:45 AM »
Hi Tony,
I had this powerful dream which has clouded my thoughts for days now
Walking down a road I see a little Chinese girl in a pink dress ,her father is on the other side of the road,he has his back towards her, almost unaware she is where she is,
She runs across the road to join him, only to be hit by a car, which rolls over her chest then her head, flattening it,as you can imagine this was horrible to witness.
My take on this after deliberation is based I think on my recent revelations.
I have come to the conclusion at the late age of 64 that the concept of an all loving compassionate divinity is nonsense even though I think like most it would be nice if there was, but alas, life is not all light love and fairies,
I do  believe most strongly that love though is the greatest gift we have, and is the only thing that  makes it all  bareable.
In the dream I was appalled that such a thing could happen that innocence ,that purity, trust was snuffed out ,just like that,
I remember Joseph Campbell saying,God is love ,God is light you say,God is horrific as well, the end of the universe with fire and ash, then flood that's God, this was his talk on Shiva, but I felt relavent
No doubt this is a part of the journey, have you experienced this, the destruction of ones concept of God.
A great un-learning has taken place ,leaving me feeling the presence of a void,I do not know where I go from here.
I am most grateful for yours and Anna's support not only for myself, but for the countless others who come here asking for advice ,help and understanding.
Look forward to anyone's thoughts.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Many foals
« on: June 21, 2019, 08:50:38 AM »
Sorry for taking so long to reply,
Thank you both for your replies, both of which I have found helpful.
I was put in care when I was child for my own safety as ,my father was a drunk and bully,
Thankfully I am  nothing like him,I am a 63 year old apprentice jedi.
So with ref to childhood being killed in some way, this rings true,as mine was devoid of that kind of freedom,it was killed by being taken away .
This is something i have not repressed though I am aware of it all ,I don't understand why  dreams would parrot what you already know.
I have recently become aware of what I call the suffering of the innocents, not humans, but all the little things insects birds animals etc caught up in wars and conflict ,I see this as compassion with all suffering ,my friend stuart who is a buddhist tells me it's a necessary step along the way, pity so much has to suffer for our enlightenment.

Dream Interpretation / Many foals
« on: May 10, 2019, 10:38:54 PM »
Hi everyone,
I had this dream the other night, need a little help.
I am enjoying watching hundreds of foals jumping & frolicking around in a meadow, it fills me with great joy at their child like innocence, playfulness & simple joy of just being, I become aware that they are all about to be led into an abattoir to be slaughtered, I remember thinking they have no idea what is about to happen,
This dream has made me feel dreadful, I am not sure what brought it about.
I have just started reading a book called letting go, the pathway to surrender, but not sure if the contents read so far would bring about such a dream,
One thing that came to mind was the bliss of ignorance or the angst of enlightenment ,this may have been reflected in the images,
Look forward to any thoughts.
Reg’s to you all,
Mikey

Dream Interpretation / The inner compass
« on: July 11, 2018, 03:38:52 PM »
Hi Tony,
Have no't been here for a while.
I had this dream today,I am currently going though a dark patch not sure about the direction my life seems to be going .
The dream.
I am outside it is dark,up in the sky I here the engine of a para glider,I wonder how on earth he can see where he is going or even where his landing field is,
I then realise he has a navigation compass and despite the lack of visual assurity he can rely on this to get him home.
On waking I felt this was referring to my state at the moment, and that despite my lack of visual security I should trust my own inner compass,I felt that the compass being round in shape and split into four was a pretty good symbol for the self.
This is my feeble attempt at interpretation,
I look forward to any feedback.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Sweet smell
« on: August 13, 2017, 09:25:49 AM »
Thank you so much Anna for your insight,
I had completely forgotten the earlier dream you mentioned, kicking myself as jung said to look at a series of dreams,
Going back over my dream diary i have also come across another dream relating to the battle to come ,something is beginning to take shape.
Taking the time to understand the limbic system and different levels etc is obviously going to be of benefit to me.
Thank you again..

Dream Interpretation / Sweet smell
« on: August 11, 2017, 11:33:25 PM »
Hi,
I haven't managed to find much about smells in dreams apart from smells as intuition about a situation, would be grateful for any extra thoughts pointers from anyone.
The dream.
I am standing in an empty fire station as the fire crews are out on a call .
To my left i notice a group of people sat in three rows one behind the other a Little higher so as to be a tiered structure they ard infact waiting for a group photo to be taken.
Towards me comes a slim shorthaired female dressed in a sky blue dress,we embrace each other,i am then surrounded by a beautiful sweet smell or aroma radiating from the female.
It was a very pleasant smell not one that i can associate with anyone,it was not a smell that triggered any memories from earlier,
I do remember a film called Michael which included a ref to an angel smelks like cookies, but i am not sure if thus has any worth.
Look forward ti anyones thoughts.

Dream Interpretation / The choice
« on: January 09, 2017, 09:12:53 AM »
Hi tony been a while !
I had this dream yesterday which was clear & vivid but has left me rather perplexed ,hoping you can help me out.
The dream,
I meet a female ,she is slim, somewhat hippyish ,the odd thing about her ,she was wearing headgear that looked liked a turban made of rolled up cloth,i am attracted to her, telling her this she seems supprized becoming a little shy embarrassed  in response, she tells me her name is Catherine.(dont know a catherine in real life)
I say to her ,
Lets put it this way,if i had to choose between in my left hand catherine,in my right hand a lovely cookie,i would choose you,but break the cookie in two sharing it with you,so giving a little peice of ourselves each to the other .
I am then hit with a kind of fast forward vision,i see a battle coming and realise catherine has not long to live, and our meeting was to allow me the honour of sharing what time is left with her.
The feeling in the dream was not gloomy despite the theme.
Hope you can shed some light on this for me.

Dream Interpretation / Re: danes and a field of maize
« on: July 17, 2016, 07:55:07 PM »
Thanks tony for your fast response,
reading your thoughts I was reminded of a previous dream I posted which you responded to as well,
the message to me was , to let go, let go of everything, this theme of letting go, dropping ones defences, ones beliefs etc seems to be a major theme, one I have yet to fully understand,
the dream I had last night seemed to follow my last post,
I am hunting a demon, like a Minotaur, confronting it, we wrestle, as I do this the demon the  turns into Thor, then into Odin, I realise that the this devil was god all along, now doubt this is meaningful

Dream Interpretation / danes and a field of maize
« on: July 14, 2016, 03:29:15 PM »
Hi tony
bit stuck with this dream hoping you can give me some pointers.
I am in an open field with a group of danish people , we are looking at a large field of maize , I hear a strange whoosh noise as the sky turns a little darker, I notice that it is a huge hail of arrows that have been fired out of the maize.
I shout out shield wall, all the people with me raise 3 lines of interlocking shields to form a protective barrier against the hail of arrows fired at us, the chap next to me lowers his shield for a split second and immediately gets hit in the heart with an arrow, he asks me to pass him his sword which he has dropped on the floor, this I do for him .
while I can see the plot from a few viking type stories /myths etc I have know idea what it is about.hoping you can stir a few things up for me.
kind regards Mikey

Dream Interpretation / modern medusa
« on: April 02, 2016, 10:09:33 AM »
hi tony,
i had this dream the other night,i think it has to do with some sort of transformation as i could see that it contained the beauty and beast, kissing a frog themes, not that i am saying i am a beauty or a frog, mind you living in England being an amphibian has its merits.
the dream.
i am met by what i termed as a modern day Medusa, she is curious as to why i am not turned to stone, she trys with all her powers, but all i feel is affection for her,i embrace her,she resists,i try to kiss her,she resists,
finally through the power of the love i feel for her ,she gives in,the kiss, one of those magical moments when everything else in the world drops off.
she reaches down to her waist and pulls off her top part, literally her whole skin Medusa head and all, revealing a beautiful female beneath.
what follows next i can only describe as unity ,we seem to melt together in a swirling explosion of a million lights,i am no longer me,she is no longer her,we are one.
i awoke from this dream my first thoughts were,oh my god what the hell is this.
i have thought a lot about this dream, seeing the mundane relationship issues it could refer to,but i also saw something much greater than this,a death, and birth at the same moment of something i have yet to experience,i have to admit it is something i did not expect to see,and i am overwhelmed.
i have read a lot of mythological stories of hero, heroine figures having to kiss or embrace something that looks ugly of unsavory, for it to be transformed into a thing of great true beauty,
one of my favorites is the hideous damsel in the grail myths, kundry she is both the ugly hag and the grail maiden in one,so because of these stories ,this is what i see in my dream, but as always i may be blinded by this,so i look forward to your wise counsel,
regards mikey
