Thanks. I know how much it brings the forum to life when we share our experiences.

I feel a lot of people stand on the brink and need encouragement to really believe.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Rainbow Eyes
« on: August 24, 2011, 10:14:15 AM »

Alexa - All I want to add to what Midlander said is that maybe most people do not know of the Native American peoples title for their new way of life. They call them selves The Rainbow People. Their aim is to emphasize welcoming people of all races, religions, ethnicities, and social status, with the common thread being a spiritual focus.

The rainbow is the splitting light into its possible colours, only a tiny part of which we can see with the human eye. So to have rainbow eyes would I feel give you the ability to see that all life is simply a division of the one great Life.

Please, if you can, share with us your experience that brought you to tears. Maybe share your colours with us.

Iaura – This is the torment you feel about a lost baby. I do not know whether this is about a baby you actually lost, or about feelings you have about being a mother.

No baby is ever lost, for Life is in every living creature. Every living thing is treasured and the best in it preserved. I know this because I have been there and wondered how a messed up person like me could be treated with so much love.

But the world is different sphere of operation where we live and die in all sorts of circumstances. But that doesn’t mean we are lost. As you said, your dream cousin took the baby.

Jeff – If you do not have any symptoms of lung cancer, then the dream is about a meeting with death – or your thoughts and feelings about death.

Throughout the dream there are opposites or two things. You say you cannot remember how to die. But that is you getting caught in thinking. It is like saying you can’t remember how to go to sleep. To sleep and dies you give up thinking and let it happen – surrender to it.

The house with two walls shows you caught in the opposites – but the glass roof lets in the light and so you can see. And the two groups of people are the same thing again, as if your dream has to repeat it over and over to impress you – how you argue within yourself.

The dirt trail had two in it again – a rough way and a difficult way without a boat. It reminds me of “The path to enlightenment is as sharp and narrow as a razor's edge.” And the tree needs to be acknowledged and honoured – for they are all representations of you.

But you did find you way home –one you had deserted in the past. The woman is love and your intuition that knows what to do – the opposite to thinking. She will lead you into the knowledge of what people call death – if you let her.

She sees through two eyes – one is the critical and the  other is the way of nature.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Was it a dream? Weird experience!

Well, certainly big changes are taking place in YOU!!

Also it might be that you are tuning into yourself with a 'new cable' so things should be even better.

The reality seems to be a feature of clarifying your dream experience, and often is part of an important dream.

I sense that the change is like looking in a new direction and suddenly realising - My God, I had never seen that before, and now it is so obvious.

Excuse me for plugging things, but in case you haven't already seen it, please read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/dream-yoga/

When you overtake me let me know, so I can cruise along in your tailwind.

Thanks for the feedback Lynn.

I work on Intuition a lot, so I am not always certain whether the right button has been pressed.  :)

Jane - It depends what you experience, but usually what I call waking lucid dreams are much more useful and understandable. This is because consciousness can sort and question and make it all clear much more quickly than when in the dream state.

I see that we need both the unconscious and conscious in harmony to really be working at full efficiency. The recent film Limitless is an interesting example of this.

Please read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/the-waking-lucid-dream/ as this explores the area.

Jane – I would see the books as saying that you need to gather more information. A book can suggest your life experience or memories; therefore experience you have learned from. They can also indicate other people’s experience and ideas that you are considering, learning from or in disagreement with. In this sense they are acquired information – or information received from other people.

But in any change of direction it should link with inner and outer direction, and your dream has that in it. But can you define what it is your main aim is – destiny as it were?

Matt – It is really good to meet you in this way. I guess from what you say about your past that you have met several things that tested and strengthened you.

So it is good to have you as part of our forum. You seem to have a lot to share and also some skills too, so please be a part of what I and others are doing here. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

If you have any descriptions of your experiences long enough to go on this site please let me see them, And do not be held back by qualifications that limit you.

Dream Interpretation / Re: recurring dream of being unprepared

Rosarita – It sounds like you have a bad case of alienation. It seems as if you have been led to believe you have no right to be or have a direction. And it sounds as if it was all around schooling. All of that can lead to such dreams. So I wonder where it came from – was it things said or done to you that caused these habits of response?

Considering that a child reared by a wolf becomes wolf, and an ordinary little girl whose parents took time to educate her at home became a genius, and so many others who were raised in homes that had attitudes of violence became violent, I believe it is habits that we are looking at. Habits etched into us through long exposure. But nevertheless just habits.

Fortunately I read a book that mentioned self-awareness, and I saw that I had some awful habits. When I saw I could alter who I was by learning different habits it was a revelation.

So I wonder what happened to you that led to your dream situation – what alienated you from yourself and made you feel lost in the world and rejected. Please see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYYXq1Ox4sk  as it may help.

Lynn – First of all, about your ‘periods of overwhelm’ – having suffered them I found something very helpful  though it takes some effort. I mentioned it to a film star I met and he said it was a lifesaver for him. Also while I was interview on television I was talking to the producer, and she told me that this helped her to deal with a very busy and demanding life.

It is a breathing technique that reaches right into our unconscious and start to reprogram habits that cause depressive feelings. See it at http://dreamhawk.com/body-and-mind/the-slow-breath/

Now your dream – its seems to be about magnetism and attracting something to you. Excuse me if this sounds ridiculous, but your dream could be saying that your soul/sole is attracting something to you.

If this is so I would ask yourself what you have been unconsciously attracted to or is coming into your life.

It seems to be something you feel belongs to someone else – though it is your dream and you own the whole territory. In fact someone or something you asked for help from suggests you are not being honest. So ask yourself whether any of this rings bells for you.

It is probable you that you feel this ability, money, whatever it is, is not yours.

You obviously are a creative person, so own up to having more than you thought.

I was tired when I wrote that reply, then on going to bed I realised something I wanted to write to you.

It is that having delved into myself over many years I can see that life is not a punishment. It often feels like it, but if we look closely we find out that it is an amazing confrontation with ourselves. When we see this we can get on with what needs to be done. I realised that some pretty big rocks had been dropped in my path, and in unblocking the way I had to shift those rocks. Looking back I can see what wonderful strengths that has given me, and some measure of wisdom also.

I can see you can move on.

I think I would have done more than cry in that woman's lap. When I let go - I learned to really hit the bottom - and scream so loud the police came at one such 'crying'.

Another time someone came to my door after a 'crying' - he was from a bowling club some hundreds of yards away, he
said "Are you all mad?"

I like to think it is others who are mad because they cannot feel the amazing passions we hold in us - amazing and wonderful.

Aristocrates – You asked, “Do I need to access my early childhood?” That sounds very much like psychotherapy, and although I was at one period involved in it, I do not feel it necessary. Life in us knows what we need and how much exposure we can take. So things come naturally. And also it isn’t an all of nothing approach because we are creatures living in opposites and need a balanced life – delving in and reaching out.

If you haven’t already come across it please read http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/lifes-little-secrets/

We can all grow beyond ourselves.
