hi i dreamed that i saw a dog eating its newborn pups can u tell me what this means ,because not long after this dream my dog bit my newborn grandaughter is it connected in any way at all

i dreamed that i saw a dog eating its new born pups.it wasnt my dog i cant remember the dog but it shook me up,i have a new born grandaughter born in june and the dog bit her the other day for real broke the skin too,is there any connection
