Hi.  I am a new member and I get overwhelmed by my dreams.
I am a highly sensitive person, and I experimented a few months back opening myself to my dreams.  I did this for a litle over a month - waking every morning exhausted, shaken, sometimes disoriented - remembering (then writing) in detail my active, vivid dreams.  I then kind of shut the door, I couldn't keep up.
I have experienced several transitions (losses) in my life the last several years, and I know my dreams are key for me.  I am seeking a more balanced way to handle/manage/deal (not sure the word I am looking for) my dreams - in addition to interpreting.

FLAgain – I often get the feeling that to deal with the dream process well we need to understand it, and also be a sort of surf rider of the mind.

But the shaken influence you felt is in fact a wonderful sign that you can work with the process – if you can find a way. So I would suggest that you read - http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/what-we-need-to-remember-about-us/ and also http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/lifes-little-secrets/

If you understand that then come back with more questions if you need to.
