No dreams
« on: December 28, 2010, 10:34:17 PM »
Hello Tony

I have been reading ur forum recently, and listening to my friends' dreams, which made me feel a kind of lack of my own dream world, as I can remember my dreams very rarely.

Do you think there might be some reason or meaning to non-dreaming?

I have been dreaming a bit when I was a child, but then it was decreasing more and more. Now most of the few dreams that I have seem to be very mandane.

Some time ago I have seen "inception", and after this I had a couple of drems, night after night, they were both very similar, some pointless situation, very tireing, but still there was some ation, and i had to put a lot of effort to resolve it, or just get to know what will happen. No exitement whatsoever. The colors were greyish too.

In both dreams I realized that I am dreaming in and I just stopped them- still sleeping, to go into the empty calm sleep. I remember in my dream i felt really happy about it - just as tho i can have rest after big effort.

Since then I have been waking up in the morning completly blank. Sometimes even extraordinaryly blank(which was very interesting too).

What can it mean that I have so little dreams, and how can I enter my dreams?

All best and thank u:-)

D.

D – My experience of dreaming is that they are like friends. If you are not vitally interested in them, interact with them, and inquire into their secret life, they will only talk to you in platitudes. But if you do these things, then they will take you on an ever deeper experience of YOU. And believe me, when that is really unveiled it is wonderful.

You can enter your dreams by not getting into the mistake of ‘thinking’ about them. Thoughts are made up or words – “I was thinking about what I should do about my bank balance.’ Words are simply associated feelings and ideas about a very small sample of the vastness we live within. Even a meaningful sentence is still only a collection of what we already have ‘thought’ or experienced. So reasoning about a dream can only give you what you already know – in form.

My experience of dreams is that they arise from our Core, as a sort of response to what we do in the world of form and 3 dimensions. Our Core is formless and beyond time and space – as is the Core of the Universe, out of which time and space emerged – out of which you and I have emerged. So to interpret them is useful, but it doesn’t give you the full experience.

To get that you need to read the feature http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/peer-dream-group/ and then practice, practice and practice until you are overwhelmed with passion and insights. Dreams are passionate and such passion brings insights.

It is even better if you can get a partner to enter the dreams in this way.

Thank u so much Tony.
After I wrote to u I realized that I am not very nice to my dream life, and last night I invited my dreams and decided to not be judgemental on them while dreaming, and I did have few dreams:-) I cannot remember them very well now. I will deffenetly try the technique from the feature thet u linked.
Lots of smile.

Years ago I had a dream of standing in front of a mysterious wall of something that seemed like clear liquid, yet I could not see through it. So carefully I slowly reached into it, and was very surprised to see a hand reaching out. It moved exactly as my hand did, so realised that what I put in would come out.

I realised afterwards that the strange wall was that which keeps us blind to out inner life, and what we put in comes out.

So give it all you can with love, curiosity, exploration and of course humour.

I must say I was moved by what u have written. I have been thinking about deeper contact with myself recently, because I realized reality of myself, or maybe even some kind of materiality. The thing that brought it were feelings and reactions that were locked somewhere deep inside, and that made my love corrupted. I guess just like u say - what comes in, has to come out. I all the time experience things in me, but I was doing it up till now in awake life, but still in simbols - art, or simple play. And i discovered not only difficult things in me but also good and joyfull.
I had two strong dreams recently, two nights in a row. First was about me playing with my child(that I don't have), he was very small and run into the frozen river, and fell into the river, through ice. I helped him, and took him to the hotel nearby, I was really scared. He fell asleep, and woke up as much younger, a toddler, he woke up, looked at me and smiled, and i was extremly happy to have him in my arms.
Another night I had a dream about my father. I sat by the kitchen table, and my dad came to me and stood above me, in quite an erotical mood i kissed his lips and licked them slightly. Then he became very horny and wanted me to have sex with him, trying to use violence for a bit, I was strong tho and resisted him, came back to my work by the table, and he went to the window, looking outside.
After these dreams I suddenly felt like it is too much for me to have dreams, almost like an allergic reaction, and I locked myself to my dreams again, and havn't had any for another night. But doing that I also felt that I am closing myself to my inside. It made me feel bad.
So, to end, I feel like my dream path might be difficult for me, but I do feel it might help me hugely at the moment.
Really happy I could write to you Tony, thank you so much for your help.
Lots of starshine;-)

Thank you so much for sharing what you have with me.

And dreams and the path they show can be hard, but they did this to clear out the rubbish we have left in our way. I have been led through hell and high water, and it has enriched me enormously. Just take one step at a time. A wise figure in my dreams told me that I do not have to struggle and do all manner of 'disciplines' to grow, what it said was that life itself is the greatest teacher, and face each thing as well as I could - and looking back I didn't do all that well - but here I am.
