Zurvan imagery?
« on: July 02, 2013, 06:49:36 AM »
Hello guys and Tony. Some time ago i was watching a TV show and they showed an idol that belongs to the ancestor of a character. He was supposed to be a member of the order of Mithra's, a hidden esoteric cult. When they show the idol, I immediately got the goosebumps, started to react scared and paranoid. After some days of internet searching i found out it was an ancient god called zurvan. I attached  an image of it and if it doesn't work try googling it.

I need to know what you guys feel when you see it, what I've read on the internet doesn't tell me much about it. Any thoughts are welcomed

Thank you

StNerevar – As far as I can tell Zurvan was a name give to the realisation that at the core of the universe is infinite time and space. There was nothing to do with sacrificing or blood which might have set up anxiety in you. But of course some of the computer game producers take such names and make awful imaginative images of them.

But my experience is that there is nothing to be frightened of in the inner world except your own fears and emotions. See http://dreamhawk.com/inner-life/inner-world/ and http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/black-magic-evil-and-dreams/
