yellow eyes
« on: March 03, 2014, 06:54:57 AM »
Hi, I'm not sure if this dream means much but hope someone could help me interpret it.

So i see my reflection in a room in front of me; the room is unfamiliar, plain, and is a whitish color. I see no light source or anything else in the room except for my reflection in the mirror. I am walking toward The mirror and notice that my isis's are yellow, not their usual brown. I am only paying attention to my eyes in the reflection. I stop at about a foot away from the mirror and notice both my pupils are shrinking to the point that they disappear and i can only see my Isis's in my eyes, then my iris's slightly open up again so that i can see a little bit of black. This is happening to both eyes but not completely simultaneously, one would have the iris open up a bit and the other would be just the iris, and both pupils would never get very large as if i were staring at something very bright.

and that is all of it. i dreamt this up three nights ago and have been thinking about it ever since.

Sergio - Well, this is a bit of guess work, because often peoples dream images are all about what the person feels or associates with what they see. So it might be good for you to read - http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/association-of-ideas-with-dreams/#Working or http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson

But my guess is that when you saw the yellow eyes you felt a strange feeling. Cats eyes are often yellow, so are snakes and some birds - inherited from the dinosaurs. So in some way you are seeing or realising something ancient that we all have in us. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/brain-levels-and-dreams/#reptilebrain

Perhaps you are not realising it too well because of the losing the iris occasionally. But it is not anything to be concerned about, we need all levels of us working to function in the world - the reptile, the mammal and the human.
