strange dream
« on: March 19, 2015, 05:34:31 AM »
Night before last I had a very strange dream and I hope someone can help me understand it.
It started out that I was in a library or somewhere looking for a medical book. Next thing I know this hand goes over my mouth and everything goes blank. next thing I am in a huge wigwam surrounded by many Indians; male & female. I'm walking around and I spot this male Indian covered in white paint and he then turns into a white stallion. I continue to walk around and see the Indians  dressed in different outfits. These 2 female indians escort me to this one particular male Indian and he asks me if I've eaten. I told him no and he gives me something to eat. I then notice some Indian drawings on 1 wall of the wigwam and ask what it meant. They tell me that it represents the great Indian who hunts deer. Then they show me how to make the symbol of a doe. You put your right hand in front of the left hand. Then you lift the index finger of your right hand and the index & middle fingers of the left hand and bounce them. then we all got up to walk in a circle around the wigwam. There is this big strong male indian standing on top of a table in the center of the wigwam. Then I woke up from sleeping & I still felt like I was still in the dream.  I hope someone can help me understand what this dream meant.

I laid back down this morning for abt 3 hrs and sometime during the sleep the same dream above came back. This time it continued off from where we were walking doing the doe symbol. We walked around until I was standing in front of the Indian that was standing on the table, he reached out and grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the table. He then placed me in the center and he started doing a dance around me in circles. This scared me so much that I woke up.

Cherokee70 - The American Indian dress either means you have some of their blood in your family. (My eldest son has a son born in the UK and his wife is from Ireland. My son had his boy’s DNA tested, and found he had 5% American Indian in his make up. It seems possible a past relative went to the US and had a child with a Native American.) Or you have taken in teachings or feelings about their culture.

The right hand in front of the left hand with the fingers placed the way they are is a sign of a woman and man having sex. It could mean what I said above – you have native blood in you – or this is a guess, you will mate with a Native American – unless it is you who are the person with a high percentage of native blood.

The great Indian who hunts deer – a doe – is another indication of a male finding a female. But him dancing in a circle suggests that you are being led to integrate your male self so you are a whole being male and female. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-animus-jungs-view-of-the-male-in-the-female/

Being scared is natural because we are usually so small in awareness as people, and it seems your awareness is being enlarged to include more of you, more of what you are capable of. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/what-we-need-to-remember-about-us-3/#Reaction

Thank you Tony, but can you explain to me abt the Indian coveted in white paint then turning into a white stallion? That is one part of the dream I don't understand.
Thank you again

Cherokee70 - I take it you are a woman who has some connection with the Native American culture and beliefs.

Painted white can therefore represent in their culture sharing, purity and light. It can also represent a white man.

The stallion is also a male figure, a powerful man. But it represents the power of nature and Life that is pure and has transcended, been uplifted above the simple animal instincts and becomes wider awareness.

Cherokee70 - I should have given you some links with things like the white horse and white. So here they are: http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/white/ and http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/core/ - http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/horse-horses/

I suggest you post dreams in the Dream Interpretation area though.
