Hi Tony, Hope all is well. I had a dream involving an assault by me on another person . I do not remember  all details of dream. I remember I assaulted someone but I stated I didn't mean to hurt the other person I claimed The assault was an accident. The person was in the hospital and had some kind of abdominal issue or something and I was told I would be going to prison I remember I was in I guess holding and the woman officer told me I had to sign in to her twice a day and she mentioned I did not cry once in the begining .then she told me, I would be doing 90/90  I became upset when she mentioned this to me. I told her The assault was an accident. when I was in court the defense mentioned the victim would have permenant nerve damage and his arms would be sticking outward permenantly I started crying .

Recovery - Thanks, all is well except I can't walk as well as I used to - the stroke. The top half of me is fine - the bottom half needs some work done on it 

As for your dream, if you read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/characters-or-people-in-dreams/ you will see that nearly always the people in dreams represent aspects of you, often not recognised because of the effect of http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/autonomous-complex/

So your attack on an apparently other person was an attack on an aspect of yourself that you were probably not aware of - thus you cried because in some way it was hurting you. It is common when we are angry about something or someone to turn the anger inwards.

So have you felt any anger recently - if so what or who was it about? Also the nerve damage is - in dreams - often caused by not being able to express such things as anger, sexual love, and unecpressed feelings about parents and others. In that way I suffered an intense chest pain for years until it was released by expressing it.

Try being the hurt person by using http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson

Or imagine yourself laying your hands on him and healing him by feeling sorrow or love for him. In dreams we have remarkable powers, so give it a try.
