cow sacrifice
« on: October 21, 2015, 01:25:36 AM »
The recall on this dream was a bit hazy but I recall I was outdoors in this familiar place (yet not from my waking life or memory) and there were others standing with me. From a distance, we were watching this strange scene of a living cow  being sacrificed to this massive machine. The machine towered above the earth and seemed somehow very alien to me and I recall watching with both curiosity and confusion as to why it was happening. ~DT

DreamTime – Your dream starts with you in the familiar inner attitude it realisation that you fully recognised yet because it is still indistinct. It is probably only familiar because most of our life takes place unconsciously. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/waking-awareness-versus-unconscious/

I cannot be certain but I feel the gigantic machine sacrificing the cow is you becoming aware of a deeply felt experience that is known by the Life process in you and is shown you by your core self in your semi-conscious dream. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/core/

To say it more clearly the machine is the social system we have been born into that sacrifices the natural mothering instinct in women. It is a machine because it lacks the full awareness of people and so it is run by automatic habits. See http://dreamhawk.com/interesting-people/animal-children/#Program

The dream suggests that the drive to reproduce goes on functioning unconsciously, and unless satisfied in some way, may be felt as a sense of dissatisfaction or even psychosomatic illness. Because you are a woman it is your nature and your potential to have a baby and give birth. You developed in this way because you are a creature of evolution. If you deny that part of you – the urge to procreate – you deny yourself even if you a have had a hysterectomy. You do not have to become childbearing to have that creativity. Do not cut yourself off from your roots otherwise you will psychologically die. To become free of it, it is not necessary to repress that part of you. In fact, that basic, primeval drive is your source of power. It is a great river of energy. Out of that your power arises. You do not even need to have a functioning womb, because at your core you are the power of creation.

And because you are a woman, remember that you have all that creative energy built into your body. As a woman you conceive in all manner of ways, from new ideas, to discovering new parts of you to nurture, so let the new birth of an idea, a new project, or even a dream baby you gave birth to grow, feed it, love it, and watch it grow.

The machine seemed alien to you because it literally is ‘alien’ to your real nature. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/cow/
