Ascending Spiral Staircase
« on: November 22, 2016, 02:13:47 PM »
I had a dream last night that I was ascending a spiral staircase inside a white column (I think it was stairs, but might have been smooth like a ramp). Normally, my knees would make climbing stairs like that difficult, but I was having no trouble. We steadily moved upward at a fairly brisk pace. My boyfriend was leading, holding my hand, and I was excited to get to the top, where we were supposed to go on some kind of ride (maybe a roller coaster?). I don't know if there was a third person with us (like in front of him, out of my sight), but for some reason I knew I might have to ride the ride in a separate car, but I was okay with that, as we were both going to the same place. Whatever was at the top, I never saw it before I woke up, but I was hopeful and excited to get there.

Winknatcha – The spiral staircase usually indicates – if going up – your personal evolution and positive change, and the change is one involving greater insight or wider view of yourself and life. It also involves the continuous repeating of experience, going around daily activities, facing the same again and again, but each cycle brings positive change.

The boyfriend is probably your inner male who is a key figure who often leads the way in personal evolution. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-animus-jungs-view-of-the-male-in-the-female/

When you reach the top of any cycle of personal growth, it is a journey of personal, independent exploration – for no one else can share it, although it doesn’t mean you  will not have a physical partner. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/individuation/
