A psychic came to visit
« on: August 06, 2021, 10:26:46 PM »
I dreamt I was at work at the hospital and a psychic came to visit. The psychic came right up to me and whispered to me that I worry to much about my health. I was relieved with what he said but I felt a sudden urge to ask him a question. He was in a hurry to go so I stopped him in the doorway. I asked if I could just ask him one question and as he turned around I could tell he was annoyed. I said that I have always felt like I should be able to see spirits so why can’t I. He responded by coming up to me and taping my eyes closed and in that moment I began to see gold outlines. I was so happy when I awoke. Deb

Deb - – The dream starts with you working at healing yourself - the hospital. And that healing allows the psychic to appear, for the psychic is part of you, for all the people, animals, places you see in your dreams, are simply your own feelings, fears. hopes and wonder projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind as images.

We all have psychic ability, but we are bombarded with information that being psychic is not possible, or you have to be extraordinary, so it builds a huge barrier against what is a natural part of life..

The psychic is obviously part of your abilities – so see https://dreamhawk.com/inner-life/using-your-intuition-1/

Recent research into brain activity shows that in fact the brain has different layers or strata of activity. These strata often act independently of each other or of conscious will. Sensing them, as one might in a dream, might feel like meeting an opposing will or being possessed by an alien force. Integration with these aspects of self can of course be gained. See https://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/brain-levels-and-dreams/ and https://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/life-will-and-conscious-will/

In a recent news program on television, a man who survived the Japanese prisoner of war camp in Singapore had been given a photograph of children by a dying soldier he did not know. The man had asked him to tell his family of his death, but did not give his name. The photograph was kept for forty odd years, the man still wanting to complete his promise but not knowing how. One night he dreamt he was told the man’s name. Enquiries soon found the family of the man, who had an identical photograph. This illustrates another ability we all have but is repressed by our huge dependence upon our body's senses - for we have the ability to access the huge collective unconscious Carl Jung defined. When reach beyond our normal awareness we are capable of entering collective knowledge of everything.

Edgar Cayce At an early age he discovered that he could put himself into a trance-like sleep at will. In this condition he could answer any question on any subject. His answers were couched in the terms of the question, i.e. medical, scientific, philosophical, historical, etc. Thus, although his education was little, and he was often described as illiterate, the answers given to questions were yet couched in technical terms unknown to his conscious mind. Politicians, businessmen, scientists, priests, all visited him to see how he could help them while he was asleep. In this way, he dictated fourteen million words on thousands of different subjects. When asked during a trance how he could give such varied and amazing information, he said, “Edgar Cayce’s mind is amenable to suggestion, the same as all other sub-conscious minds, but in addition thereto it has the power to interpret to the objective mind of others what it has acquired from the subconscious state of other individuals of the same kind. The subconscious mind forgets nothing. The conscious mind receives the impressions from without and transfers all thought to the subconscious, where it remains even though the conscious be destroyed.” See https://dreamhawk.com/interesting-people/cayce-his-wisdom/
