A lion
« on: February 01, 2012, 08:17:25 AM »
My dream starts with a group of girls all being at a very close friends house and we are getting ready to go to a music concert...haven't a clue who we were going to see or who some of the other girls were, but I had a sense there was about 6 of us.

We get ready, dressed up, make up on, but it is in the morning and we set off to the concert. Along the way we pass a building that has a large frontage of step leading up to it. We don't go up the steps but pass them by and we end up in a park where there is a couple of lads teasing a lion. the lion is behind a wire fence but it's only a piece of fence....th lion could walk around it if it wanted to!. The young lad bout 18 is waving at the lion and pretending to strike it. I recall telling him to stop as I can see the lion can walk around the fence...he doesn't and he carries on with arms flailing at the lion who on the other side of the fence is jumping up and moving his head forward towards the boy but not roaring or being aggressive...if anything being a playful cat.

All of a sudden the lion climbs the fence and lands on the other side facing the boy. One of my friends says to me...he will knock him down. Again we urge the boy to stop and move away...the next thing is the boy is on the ground and the lion is standing over him. I didn't acutally see the lion knock the boy to the ground...but the lion is still not being aggressive..it's almost like he is warning him that he is superior. There is no attack whatsoever.

Then I woke up!

Loobylou – A lovely dream.

Its starts with you going to or about to witness a special event. But the special event is to see the real nature of the dream lion – a beautiful strength that we all have from Life having experienced all creatures, and we are Life.

We are all naked Life when we are born. As a baby you were a small vulnerable animal, with all the natural instincts to feed, to survive, and to bond with your mother. You didn’t know how to speak or use language, and if you had been left without being taught you would end up an animal with the instincts to survive, but no human personality. The human soul is not given to us at birth; it is a gift from one self aware human being to a little being with great potential. See http://dreamhawk.com/interesting-people/animal-children/

And the lion in the dream is a wonderful example of our inner strength – it was a warning that he/the lion was superior. We can see this in so many dreams where people run terrified from dream animals – it comes through ignorance of the nature of ourselves and dreams.
