My father at an airport asking about my regrets
« on: April 24, 2012, 12:59:50 PM »
In my dream i found myself sitting at an airport with my father. he was going somewhere and it was clear I was never going to see him again. He asked me to review my regrets from the past 30 years. I was holding four flyers each containing a regret. He wanted to see them and kept asking me to look them over and I was crying. My brother and my sister were standing beside me waiting for their turn to talk to him.

SDYoung – This one of those dreams that causes me great fountains of feeling.

I think your father must be a remarkable man in some way, for he is here telling you that he is about to take a journey into death – if he has not already died.

The wisdom of him is in the asking you what regrets you had. This has in it two things – one is that after death he is looking at and learning from his own failures. That is a way of things that happens soon after death, when one looks at ones own life in detail and learns from it. It also has the effect of you feeling your own feelings and learning from them.

Of course you could see him again. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/questions/#TalkingDead
