Dream Interpretation / Re: Glipsing My Wonderful Potential
« on: February 08, 2020, 12:45:22 PM »
This a wonderful description of you, not the everyday waking you, but the amazing potential you have as an artist, as a LIFE builder, for the building is what you have created through many lifetimes. The detail you have put into the dragons and art is impressive. I got that you have as apart of your life journey that of an artist before you told me that in signing off.

Such a building holds within it and the garden the secrets of your spirit and your long story of your lives as an artist creating a beautiful life/lives – for the building is what I call ‘The house of the Ancestors’. It is the synthesis or culminations of your inner life/lives. If you draw it I would love see what you produce, for whatever you feel about yourself as an artist the dream is unusually artistic.

In case you are unsure if that please read - https://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/seed/

The brightness and the sunlight in dream language say that you have a lot of life and creative energy. The hill is your ability to rise above the normal attitudes and beliefs of the crowd. I feel it might put you in touch with the reality of the building if you use https://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson
There are no people in the building, which is a feature of such dreams for the dream is about you, not other people. See https://dreamhawk.com/stories/the-house-of-the-ancestors/ which describes exploring such a house.

“On my journey there were many obstacles on the way trying to find it.” These obstacles are sometimes the results of past actions or beliefs that now stand in the way of progress – karma. But also can be what has been called the Dweller on the Threshold. In a dream I had experienced as I entered my own Old House I was confronted by Lurch, Frankenstein’s monster from the film series.  I realised that as Lurch I am the Guardian of the Threshold, the inner image of what holds u back because of past actions that are like negative emotions or fears blocking our way. Unless we  have transformed or are in the process of transforming these there can be no entrance into this realm unless the seeker passes on.  And there are tests he or she must pass also.

Such a meeting is expressed in many ancient stories such as sleeping beauty where the hero/seeker has to cut through huge brambles which many have died trying to kiss the sleeping beauty, for you have to face the many things you have grown within you that prevent you from entering your core self. See https://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/core/
You wrote, “I found myself in another place/building or house which was dimly lit. Inside there were people there but I had no connection with them.” Probably because you lost the wonderful view you had achieve. It might be worthwhile to consider what mood or state of mind allowed you to have this dream.

But in the end I feel you never actually inhabited the house, the garden that is your power of growth, and the dragons. Your dragons never came to life – a huge pity and I suggest you start to wake them. Because the part of our mind we name ‘the unconscious’ is so ancient and huge, we sometimes depict contact with it as a dragon or monster. In myths the hero is often shown doing battle with a dragon, serpent or some other monster, to get a treasure. This is probably because the dragon depicts the massive and irrational forces of the unconscious, the life urges and untamed fears and sexuality that one must face and deal with in order to gain the treasure of potential locked in sexual, mental and emotional energy.

Example: In the dream I entered a cave and I saw a dragon resting inside, it woke up, saw me and we stared at one another for a moment and then it moved and I saw a sack of diamonds and diamonds overflowing/ coming out from the cave wall, it looks like the dragon was guarding it.

Example: “This dream I had few years ago but can’t get it out of my head ever since, I know it’s very important and related to my spiritual path.

So, I am holding a rope attached to the tail of a humongous black hooded dragon. I am struggling to hold on, it looks like we’re inside the earth, there’s dirt, mud and rocks everywhere and the Dragon seems like swimming in it. The dragon tries to throw me away with its tail but can’t do it, then he/she tries to eat me and appears as if she/he is chasing its tail, but can’t. The terrain is so rough and she/he can’t shake me off even though I am less than a mosquito to her/him. This goes on for a while but not for a moment do I think of letting go.

Then the terrain starts to get softer, less rocks, more mud, the dragon does not fight as aggressively now and I start to climb the rope getting closer to the body. The terrain gets even softer and now water appears. Finally, I reach the dragon’s body, its colossal; I can hardly catch on to one scale. Now I’m on its back and we’re into water, the experience from horrifying becomes adventurous and then pleasant. I’m climbing its back slowly and it becomes easier by the moment, then we are out of the water and flying in the air, it’s wonderful. The air starting to get thinner there is no resistance at all and the colours are becoming so vivid and psychedelic, it’s ecstatic. Finally, I reach the head and I see its beautiful face it is rounded, thorny with fantastic yellow eyes. Awe is not enough to describe that moment, I feel warm safe and loved. I don’t remember any words only this endless bliss.” See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/integration-meeting-oneself/#Ox

The Christian tradition, describes the enormous and terrible fight with the Devil, with the dragons we hold within us and paints a tragic picture of an enormous struggle with our own basic life giving energies. This view has been pushed into us by the church, which has led to enormous human conflicts with sex and its expression, and with us killing the greatest force and human treasure – knowing oneself and not lip service.

Dream Interpretation / Glimpsing My Wonderful Potential
« on: February 08, 2020, 12:43:25 PM »
Hi Tony and thanks for taking the time I appreciate it.

The detail in this dream is like nothing I've ever experienced before.
I do experience lucid dreaming from time to time but this was a dream journey like no other. I do understand some aspects of the dream but don’t understand the whole picture and some of the elements.

I was walking towards a town that was in the distance, it looked very picturesque it could have been anywhere, a very bright and sunny day, very clean. Around me were low level stone buildings pitched tiled roofs very pretty very green lots of trees no people or cars just me, I follow a long winding road to a hill and the town.

I see a building in the distance on top of that hill. The building was enormous, mythical, magical; gothic maybe, totally stunned me! Hundreds of gargoyles and dragon sculptures and faces attached to it, all made from stone every square inch of the building was covered with these stone images which fascinated me.  There were two circular towers with pitched roofs at either end the whole building was 5 stories high and made of stone, It wasn't threatening or scary but I was extremely curious about it.

It was at this moment I realised I was dreaming and became lucid.

After doing a bit of flying I decided to make my way to the building out of curiosity. On my journey there were many obstacles on the way trying to find it, then the dream went off on a slight tangent and I found myself in another place/building or house which was dimly lit. Inside there were people there but I had no connection with them. Then I remembered my original purpose which was trying to find this magical building but couldn't find an exit to where I was, so I used my lucidity and jumped through a wall and landed back into my original  dreamscape near the top of the hill. The sun was shining again, clear brilliant blue sky, it seemed this was the main part of the town lots of houses etc all made from stone very oldie worldie.

I finally arrived at the building around the back. I find two stone staircases one going down to the entrance of the building (a huge opening with large double oak doors with a stone arch surrounding) and one going up to a garden, again many statues everywhere many dragons, incredible detail/beauty. I couldn't make up my mind whether to venture into the house or go into the garden as they both had my attention this is when I woke unfortunately.

On waking I believed that the building actually existed and really wished I could have stayed in this dream longer so as to explore the house and garden. I was left feeling very pleasant and happy.

Although this dream was a few days ago now, I'm still thinking of the building. I'm a bit of an artist and I may attempt to draw it at some stage.

Dream Interpretation / Re: Entering The Magic Dimension of the Flux
« on: February 04, 2020, 12:42:08 PM »
Chris - On imagining myself in your dream all sorts of speculations and perhaps what might amount to experiments on my part developed. I understood that when one enters this living moving energy it totally penetrats one's being, and one's body and it transforms you and perhaps even can heal you of any weakness or irregularities. I felt that it transforms your personality also. I was experiencing being in and out of the energy, and while out of it I felt great peace and well-being.

Later because the flex was I realised that because thousands of individuals had merged to share their abilities and being with you both it was if you had entered a quantum condition leaving time space behind, so you could become aware of what Jung called The Collective Unconscious - https://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/collective-unconscious/

To expand upon that - "The physicist Bohm defines this problem by saying that there are two orders in our experience of the world around us. There is the 'explicate' order and the 'implicate' order of the physical universe. He defines the explicate order as the impressions of the world gained via our senses and the interpretations the brain places on these impressions. These impressions and the brain’s interpretations – based on millions of years of evolutionary experience and input – lead to a view that we each have separate minds in isolated bodies. The implicate order is the universe as it is when we move beyond the limitations of the senses and the brain’s evolutionary programs. Then we begin to see the universe as a single indivisible whole and ourselves as intricately part of that whole."

Bohm says that “if we don’t see this it’s because we are blinding ourselves to it.” He goes on to say that “If we don’t establish these absolute boundaries between minds, then it’s possible they could unite as one mind.”
in contact with an individual one could merge with that individual and experience the same feeling, and the loss of the dense body form.

This points to the possiblity that at the implicate level we are all one being, including animals and all that  lives. This expalains how some people know what is going on a at a distance or in other peoples lives. For example Emmanuel Swedenborg on the first of July 1759, while Swedenborg was attending a dinner party in the Swedish city of Göteborg. During the party, he suddenly became agitated and began describing a fire in Stockholm—more than 250 miles away—that was threatening his home. Two hours later, he reported that the fire had been extinguished three doors down from his house. It was not until two days later that messengers from Stockholm arrived in Göteborg and confirmed the details as Swedenborg had relayed them.

Also one day a lady asked Shirdi Baba to come and eat with her. Having prepared special dishes with all her love and capability, she was horrified to see a stray dog just about to eat from the table. She drove it away and left to tell Sai Baba the meal was ready. When she asked him to come he said, “No, you drove me away when I wanted it; now I don’t want it. He had known the dog as part of his own onesness”

Dream Interpretation / Entering The Magic Dimension of the Flux

In the dream I was with a woman who was on my right. I have no clear picture of her face and no sense of who she was. But I did feel close to her emotionally, and we were holding hands. Together we walked into a large building. I have the impression of it being a square tall block, like an old-fashioned office building, but quite nice looking and well preserved. I believe my woman companion had been in the place before. I say this because I was feeling slightly uncertain and she was feeling confident and supportive, walking ahead of me and slightly pulling me along.

Inside the front door of the building was a wide passageway probably about 15 or 20 feet wide leading straight ahead. Not far along this corridor something completely filled the space in front of us. It looked like a screen of energy, perhaps like patterns of energy with just a little material substance.

With no real hesitation the woman and I walked into this wall of energy. I believe we knew more or less what would happen - that we would be absorbed and become wholly a part of this life form. As we walked into it I was trying to analyse what was happening and what it felt like. I lost all sense of my body as a dense form, but I could still feel my partner’s hand in mine in a very delicate way - again like energy playing upon energy. I could feel that the energy had totally penetrated me and was working on me in a healing way that would transform all of me. My impression was that thousands of individuals had merged to share their abilities and being with me, and I was sharing with them, forming an amazing wholeness. It felt very healing. Also, I felt that we could decide upon our own movement, and it seemed as if we were still walking within this life form. So, I knew we could walk out again and return to our solid body form. Chris

The dream shows you on the wheel of Karma. Karma is the rule that what we sow in life is what we eventually get, but it is not about punishment or about pessimism but about your own power to create your future.

The Buddhist wheel of life is often described as a continuing wheel of misery which one must escape from by killing out our sense of self. Well that is one form of escaping, but another way is a path taken by ancient races such as the Native Americans of facing the pain and transforming it. It is a path that many in today's world are taking, the path of transformation. I had the sensation a snake curling up around me. I then began to see serpents’ faces all over the wall - then I saw myself as a fat, pot-bellied snake slithering gaily away to destruction, I felt horrified and thought, “Whose destruction?” I then realised it was my own destruction - I was destroying myself. I seemed to be having a battle between life and death-it was a terrific struggle, but life won. I then saw myself on the treadmill of life-a huge wheel was going round and round with hundreds of people on it. Some were on top going confidently through life, others were getting jostled and trodden on but still struggling to go on living (I saw myself as one of these people) and then there were the others who just couldn’t cope with life and were being crushed to death in the wheel. I had another realization of how I was destroying myself-by carrying on this affair with this married man. . . . I knew it must cease and knew that I must never see him again.

Dream Interpretation / Re: In A Beautiful Vibrant Emerald Green Dress

Nadine – Your grandmother showed herself to your mother in a vibrant green dress. In the language of dreams green is like the power of growing things that cracks roads and pushes to exist vibrating with life.

That wonderul living influence clothed you also. You ask whether you are on the right track. The dream replies with a resounding YES!

Dream Interpretation / In A Beautiful Vibrant Emerald Green Dress
« on: January 21, 2020, 09:28:58 AM »
Hello. I was wondering about a dream my mother had, as whenever she dreams about my grandmother (who passed away over 5 years ago) its usually to tell her something. This particular dream involves me, so I am curious as to its meaning. In my mothers dream my grandma was in her mid 30s (which is a few years older than me) and she is in a beautiful vibrant emerald green dress and shoes, and in the dream my mom recalls that I also was wearing a green dress also.

My mother doesn’t recall anything else happening in her dream, but just remembers feeling good about the dream, it seemed very positive. I wonder if this has anything to do with my constant wonder and questioning about my life path, and whether I am on the right track?? My life has taken many turns in the last 3 years, so I am just hoping for stability, peace and moving forward financially and in my personal life.
Thank you – Nadine

Dream Interpretation / Re: An Aggressive Great Bald Eagle Attacking
« on: January 14, 2020, 09:51:51 AM »
I wonder what the aggressive giant bald eagle means to you. Also what are you aware in everyday life that has pinned you down making you less able to defend yourself. I wonder whether you have problems dealing with male agression?

All images are your own deeper mind expressing itself in images which need it be explored. As an example - I had a very clear mental image of a baby elephant. It was like a bas-relief made out of clay, but mobile. I could see that the baby elephant had some problem with its trunk, and I wondered why my unconscious had produced this image so clearly and what it meant. Immediately because I asked the question what it meant the image disappeared and a series of associations arose unbidden. It was that the elephant actually ate with its mouth, but it had to reach out for everything with its trunk. As a baby the elephant would suckle with its mouth, but as it matured it would have to learn to get its own needs with its trunk, therefore the problem was about me reaching out for my own needs as an adult.

But dream exploration needs to be learned and practised. Many people say they cannot get any results from using the techniques. It is like any skill, like riding a bike or driving a car, at first you will fail until with practise it becomes second nature.  You need to learn new skills and habits.  When they are learned they are life enhancing like being able to drive a car.

For instance when you become a dream person or object, you can speaking as the object or dream person, but one needs to take time with it. Learn how to actually describe what you are as that dream object or person. If I dream of a dog, don’t simply describe what you think a dog feels like, but actually take time to tune into the dream image and describe the dog dreamt about. Is it an old or young dog? What is it doing in the dream? Listen to your feelings and describe what it/you feel.

While 'being' a dog I felt. "as the dog I felt that splendour of leaping into space and splashing into the water was wonderful and exhilarating. The shit part of being a dog was that I had to wait for my owner to throw the log. I had to have my button pressed in order to allow me to make that wonderful leap. What I don’t understand, as the dog, is why doesn’t my owner just leap into the water like this? He doesn’t have to wait for his buttons to be pressed. He has all that freedom and just stands there. What is he waiting for?"

Remember that each image is a creation of your own mind and unconscious, so you are really describing yourself. Say whatever comes and consider its value afterwards. Below is a quote from Tiziana Stupia’s book Meeting Shiva

“Tony taught me a process in which a dream could be interpreted and understood by assuming that everything, people and objects alike, in a dream represented aspects of the Self. Sitting cross-legged on the squishy, old-fashioned sofa in the living room of my sadhu’s cave opposite Tony, I’d close my eyes and mentally return to a dream I had the previous night. He would ask me questions about the dream, which I’d answer in the first person. So if I dreamt about a tree, I would ‘become’ the tree, assume its personality and respond from its viewpoint. He’d ask ‘So what kind of tree are you? Are you big or small, old or young? What do you look like? Where are you growing? Why are you in Tiziana’s dream?’  This sounded like a silly exercise at first, but I was soon enough convinced of its validity. It was fascinating to discover a wealth of insight and emotion emerging from my responses, and understand how they related to my current situation. They also pinpointed exactly where I was in my growth process. Sometimes, the dreams would uncover unconscious fears and intuitions. Often, they also held important clues and offered solutions to my problems. It was like doing detective’s work – arduous at times, but rewarding beyond belief.”

So try 'being' the great bald eagle!

Dream Interpretation / An Aggressive Great Bald Eagle Attacking
« on: January 14, 2020, 09:49:18 AM »
Tony, please help interpret.  I had a dream just now where I saw two giant bald eagles walking towards each other.  One stronger and more violent, attacks the other and I rush over to try to protect it.  The giant aggressive eagle has me pinned to the ground and I can’t move.  I’m trying to avoid it’s giant beak and worried it will peck at my face.  I call to my girlfriend to come over and free my arm so I can try to protect myself.  I woke up as I was pulling my arm out from under my blanket.  Any suggestions?

Dream Interpretation / Re: Tigers Roaming About
« on: January 10, 2020, 12:20:38 PM »
Jo – This is an excellent example of how dreams try to teach us things. Of course dreams express in a very ancient language, language that developed in ancient life forms before ever words were invented. The ancient language is one of example, the language that has taught youngsters for millions of years by watching what mother or father fox, bear wolf did – all without words. See the Bear picture - https://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/bear/

You have the same example in your dream but didn’t catch on, “Some people were calm and the idea was those who stayed calm, the tiger would never chase them.”

Unfortunately about 98% of people were never taught recognise that the things we learn in the external world do not apply to our inner self. To understanding your dream, you need to realise that the images in our dreams are just emotions, thoughts, fears, traumas, ideas, and feelings projecting out of you and appearing as images of people and things as scenes outside you on the screen of your mind.

So whenever we dream its images are not like real life, because a dream is nothing like outer life where things could hurt you, but is an image like on a cinema screen, so that even if a gun is pointed at you and fired it can do no damage – except if you run in fear; so, all the things that scare you are simply your own fears projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind. In the early days of moving pictures, a film was shown of a train coming fast toward them; the viewers all fled in terror, fearing the train would crush them. That is exactly the same response if you are terrified of any thing you dream of. See https://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/masters-of-nightmares/

Example: I was standing on my patio and there was a bear inside the fence also there were children taunting the bear. I yelled at the kids to stop teasing the bear. Then all of a sudden the bear came towards me; it was a brown bear with its massive size and it stopped and looked at me. Although I was frightened I was courageous enough to pet the bears head, reaching over his  large mouth to reach his head. Then, all of a sudden the bear lay on his back and I begin to brush my hand on his chest as to pet him in a downward motion, the bear just gazed at me.

I had a dream..Me and some of my family members went to a strange place … Firstly there was very few houses..Then we discovered more..And also we discovered that tiger resides to this place like normal beings..You will find them anywhere you go.. I saw the tigers only resting, calm and composed..Then we visited a temple..There we’re also tiger and tiger cubs. We listened to the voices of people being chased by tiger cubs or tiger. And after sometime we all were afraid that the tiger might Chase us.. some people were calm.and the idea was those who stayed calm, tiger would never chase them..And then another moment appears a tiger cub chase people..

The people get anxious and start screaming and running in groups.Thr tiger cub came inside the group of people very fast and everyone was. Trying to protect herself and started pushing each other. In this scenario the tiger cub bite onto my leg but somehow I backed off and protected myself. Then the chase continued.I decided to go inside the temple and I stood there.now there were less people.yhe tiger cub came inside very calmly. He was was very small..But in my mind it was like he was searching for me..He looked on me and started staring with the kiddish eyes .Inside my heart I knew I will run if he will attack on me… Wandering around he sat on a box..I advised the priest of the temple to cover the box so that it could not chase anyone.it happened we all were relieved.then after this me and my family thought to go further.it was raining..And it was some Forest like place.and I don’t remember further what happened.

Dream Interpretation / Re: My Dead Grandmother
« on: January 05, 2020, 11:59:20 AM »
Deep – Dreaming of a dead grandmother is important – See https://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/grandmother-grandma-gran/

But in the back of your mind  you knew she was dead; such knowing is often coloured by the belief that once your body dies that is the end if your existence. So with such beliefs your search was fruitless because you felt she did not exist, and in the world of dreams such feelings create what you experience in dreams.

Whether what we experience is beautiful or terrible, dreams are the amazing and tremendous experiences of virtual reality? Your dream, any dream, is a full surround experience of virtual reality. While in the dream it usually seems totally real to us.

You went to the police, suggesting that you reached out to solve or help with a problem, to right a wrong, for protection or support. So ask yourself what were you in search of and why?

In the end you light a candle which might be a way of remembering your grandmother or honouring her memory. It seems you do not know the ways your inner kife and dreams work, so ti might be helpful to read https://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/grandmother-grandma-gran/#Gran and https://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/dreaming-of-death/#WhoSaid - or. "Who said death was the fiinal end?"

Dream Interpretation / Re: Sealing Our Fate and Saint Peter
« on: December 26, 2019, 11:16:58 AM »
Dreamangel - Thank you for writing back.

I want to tell you a story from my own life - but of course it is partly your own story too. It happened by using LifeSteam.

"I was like Atlas, supporting a world upon my shoulders and arms. It was so heavy I swayed and stumbled, and eventually was crushed - falling over - lying on my back, arms and legs wide. My hands went back and tried to lift up this world but failed. Then they went into a prayerful position, high up, and afterwards seemed to spin the world up above my chest, then take it upon my shoulders again and gradually rise. I seem to remember that flickers of strength or energy had gradually arisen from within me to enable me to lift the world. Now my right hand began to swing round and round, fast and faster. My left hand joined in and I understood that I was whirling this world faster and faster. Suddenly, and with a mighty effort, out rushing breath, and a sense of finality, I let go and the world swung into space - in orbit. It was here that I saw it as a creation drama, and felt from within that all such dramas have great inner meaning.

Now I stood facing the Light, hands together at the level. I felt my wrists were chained, and I held them up to God, the Light, to be freed.

It was then as if God said, “Tony, you hold up your arms to be freed, but you have never been chained - only by yourself.”

“It took almost three months for me to really begin to really understand what that was about, because a lot of our problems express as dreams or dream symbols. So one day when I was describing the experience to a friend I suddenly realised what it was saying. Before starting LifeStream I had felt very ill, but also ill at ease with myself.

At that time, although I had not been brought up in an actively religious family, I had lived by a strong religious code. I dealt with difficulties in my marriage and myself by applying the rigid morals I used to guide my life. I disciplined myself to live the sort of life I felt God called me to live. That was the world I had created. I had made a world so rigid and heavy to bear that my religious beliefs had crushed me and made me ill. Through opening up I was beginning to throw off that old way of life and the restrictions I had placed upon myself. I had begin to develop a sense of meeting life face to face, instead of creating a God in the mould of my own narrow conceptions. I had begun to feel a communication with life itself within me, and truly it was saying -’Tony, I have never chained you.’”
