Riding a horse
« on: December 22, 2016, 09:19:54 AM »
So last night I was dreaming that I was riding this copper coloured horse. I was kind of doing an exercise thing with people but I was on horseback, no problem in controlling the horse at all. Afterwards the horse was really tired and sweaty and was lying on the ground to rest, trying to eat hay at the same time so someone walked the horse over to me so I could take the bridle off so it could eat. After that weird things started happening, I got back on the horse even though it had no saddle and no bridle, only a halter and a leading chain. But then I could talk to the horse and it would go where I wanted it to go. Until we came across small fires around us, mostly in wheelie bins and old bath tubs and such, then the horse got a bit spooked but still did what I asked of him. Then I came to a big empty house (the owners were away which I knew but I still knocked which was weird) and as I knock, wolves appear and I feel fear and I can tell the horse is scared too. So I tell it to run and then I wake up. I've tried to find what all this can mean but I can't find anything really so I hope that maybe someone here will be able to help me? ☺️

Zorina - Hi - I am sorry to suddenly stop replying to dreams like this, but I must upgrade the dream dictionary – I started the revising in 2006, and haven’t neared the end yet.

So, for a while I urge you to read http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/i-am-no-longer-interpreting-dreams/

Also, here are so ways you can find your dreams meaning - http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/questions-2/#Summing - http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/getting-at-your-dreams-meaning/ or http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson and http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/opening-to-life/

Hundreds of questions about your dreams have already been answered if you scroll down to the very bottom of the page were people’s questions/comments were replied to. Also, see http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/questions-2/

Hints on you dream – Riding your copper dream horse shows that you have gradually learnt a more intimate relationship with your own instinctive feelings. Please see http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/brain-levels-and-dreams/#mammalbrain

You have arrived at meeting your own instincts in a way that you can work with them easily without force or drugs – because many people cannot deal with their spontaneous emotions, sexual drive and the modern world, shown by the wheelie bins and bath tubs. Our inner self is largely an animal and the modern world can cause people panic attacks – feeling spooked. Why do you think millions of people take antidepressants?

But you still need learn how to deal with our dream animals and realise whether it is domesticated or wild. A domesticated animal within you has hundreds of years of relating to our self-aware human personality – but a wild animal will take longer to make friends with. You have not met your wolves easily yet. They are probably your instinctive reactions of fear. Whenever we dream its images are not like real life, because a dream is nothing like outer life where things could hurt you, but is an image like on a cinema screen, so that even if a gun is pointed at you and fired it can do no damage – except if you run in fear; so all the things that scare you are simply your own fears projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind.

To gain an understanding of your dream animals, it is helpful to imagine that you are the keeper of a prehistoric type of human being. As such you would need to be aware what the correct diet is for this big creature; what type of dwelling it needs; what are its sexual and emotional needs; what frightens it or causes it stress; what amount of exercise keeps it healthy, what its stages of growth are and how it can best develop through those stages; and what satisfies it in relationships with others of its kind? Your animal dreams are showing you exactly those issues. They are giving you insight into how to care for the instinctive, the spontaneous and natural in you.
