Dreams of Ancient Egypt-Imported from Comments

Holly

Hello, I’ve always have had a sense of wild dreams I’ve learned to control and recognise while I'm dreaming, that I’m dreaming. For some time now, I’ve had dreams of temples, mostly writings on the walls. No physical form or anything else. A few days ago, came up to a part bird and part human holding a 3d sun disc, named Amun Ra. I know a little of this and that about ancient Egypt, a few books I have read including a copy of book of the dead. I felt connected, like Amen Ra has been looking for me. It was strange. Funny thing is, I didn’t know about an Amun Ra until I Googled it. And there he is, stone cut, 3d, holding his disc with a bird mask, like the dream. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one with Egyptian dreams. Their interesting.

Holly – Very Interesting dream. It shows how your memory is much longer than that of your personality. No plant or creature grows from a dead seed, and each living seed carries within it all the past gathered from all its forebears. So, the seed in your mother’s womb is as old as and even older than human kind, and you carry that wisdom or memories in you. But in this life you developed a new brain, and the memories you gathered this time are what you built your personality from, but beneath that is a very ancient self. To reach it see https://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/opening-to-life/

The writing on walls is also an ancient things, but in dreams it can represent something important that you may overlook, so a premonition, portent, or clear indication of failure, especially if you do not take notice of it.

Amun Ra was a symbolical representation of a great insight into the fundamental processes of life that modern ideas have not yet grasped. The solar disk was the source of all life processes. It was show at time with a falcons head – not a mask – for the hawk could fly high and so have a view of all happening below it, including human affairs.

It had a human body showing that in fact although holy it was a part of every human life if they looked within them. And that was why it was a worshipful god, for by worshipping it one could gradually realise it was within themselves.

It was often shown with an erect penis because it was the force which enlivens us all. The suns rays project across space – the penis – and fertilise the earth – the womb and so brings life. That is why he hold the other symbol of the crux ansata the shape of which is a loop – the womb – with a line – the penis – joined to it, meaning the whole human and cosmic activity.
