Leopold – I used to tell a story about a person who lives in their house with a tiger. The person knowing how powerful the tiger was felt afraid. But realising that whenever we dream its images are not like real life, because a dream is nothing like outer life where things could hurt you, but is an image like on a cinema screen that even if a gun is pointed at you and fired it can do no damage – except if you run in fear; so all the things that scare you are simply your own fears projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind, he struggled with the tiger. Of course he/she was killed often, but she/he knew that dreams are also like computer games where you are killed again and again, and then you can try again until your skill/strength increases. And this happened with the person living with the tiger. One day in their game/struggle the person easily put the tiger down each time.
So the moto is: we each have a tiger living in us, and if we develop the inner strength to deal with it we can live with the animal we are – if not we will live with our instinctive responses of fear. See

But from what you have said, it is not simply a meeting with raw instinctive drives, but a relationship with sexual urges, the female in you. In a way you can never really release the tiger because it is a part of you. See
