Alicia – You are confusing the limited possibilities of your waking life with the huge possibilities of your dream life. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/dimensions-of-human-experience/

Also all the people, animals, places you see in your dreams, are simply your own feelings, fears, hopes and wonder projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind as images.
Please read http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/brain-levels-and-dreams/

So your dream wolves are wonderful links you have with your animal foundations in the mammalian brain.

That you are yourself a wolf is showing that not only have you arrived at an awareness of the real background to your own female mothering instinct, but also the wonderful caring and fierce protection seen in your inner wolf. You have achieved the ability of the shapeshifter. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-shapeshifter/

There is a saying that we are stood on the shoulders of those who lived before us. But in a way it is even a greater truth to say. "We stand today where we are because of the many great plants and animals that still give us the foundation of life we totally depend on."
