Twin
There are several possibilities when you dream of a twin or twins.
The first one is that it is part of you that has got split off from your main development. So they can be one of the many polar opposites or splits in our being – the split between waking consciousness and sleep or the unconscious; the split between what we want in our deepest desires, and what we can allow ourselves socially; the split caused by infant trauma; the split between our sense of eternity and the facts of physical mortality; introversion and extroversion; something of self which has got split off, or perhaps even ‘died at birth’, leaving us feeling only half a person; the lack of balance in our being.
Twins can also represent duality, conflict, or two sides of an issue, but also the emergence of something new, something that was denied, that you were born with, but never acknowledged as part of yourself. It can also be your unconscious relationship with another person, such as occurs in a telepathic link. In some cases though it is about separation, and the feelings you have about that, or about the denied or unrealised part of yourself.

But here is another possibility, explained by man who was trying to find himself.
There is a part of me that he has never actually involved in this present life. It has never been expressed. It has never been incarnated. It is almost as if it was not born with me. It has never expressed through the body. It hasn’t made itself real through the body. So it is almost as if it has been a spiritual or invisible twin, a ghost, a spirit guide. It is influencing his life – God, what a story – and yet is so frustrated. Frustrated all the time because it can’t live its life. It is pushing and pushing me toward what it wants to do, yet it is not felt as wholly me. It is not something I have built into my life and trusts, and so I do not live it in the same way as he lives the other areas of my life. When I look at this question though, I see there is a problem which is a part of my nature. It has created this division. When I was born there was a struggle about incarnation. I didn’t want to be born. I didn’t want to face again the experience of the world. So, a very large part of me was cut off from involvement and expression. It was pulled back or held back. An amazing conception happened after two eggs were fertilised at the same time in the womb. Both Kylie and her partner Remi Horder, pictured below, are of mixed race. Their mothers are both white and their fathers are black. According to the Multiple Births Foundation, baby Kian must have inherited the black genes from both sides of the family, whilst Remee inherited the white ones. The odds against of a mixed race couple having twins of dramatically different colour are a million to one.
A mixed-race British couple has defied the odds — twice — by producing two sets of twins in which one sibling appears to be black and the other white.

Hi,Usual i go by my dreams because i can sometimes tell what it wants me to do or what it might lead up to.But this one was different.I was in my house,i live with my father and brother since more mother passed away when i was 8.I was in the kitchen and i was holding my stomach,and i could feel the two inside me.It was weird because though i’ve had vivid dreams,even after i work up the next day i keep touching my stomach,as if they were there.When i was touching my stomach,i felt in a little pain,and one of the twins seem to act up more.My brother ask what i was wrong,to just rub my stomach a bit and lay down.When i laid down,i continued to hold my stomach,feeling both full of life.
Im 15,and im still a virgin,so i really doubt its about me being pregnant anytime soon,^^;,but i do know my dreams using till me something and since its so vivid,its probably something pretty important or about anything that might change.

My dream was very vivid, it was if it was happening. I dreamt
“i was in the delivery room but no nurses or doctors or anyone was there, just me and had delivered twin boys without any help. one was a big baby and one was the size of my palm, they both weren’t breathing and i gave them cpr. They started breathing and i enjoyed cuddling and looking at my gorgeous baby boys. I rang my partner to say that our bundles of joy had arrived where my partner then said he was upset he missed the birth but his boss has sent him off to work for the next 3 month (my partner is an electrician and works away mon-fri) in tears i’d put the phone down, gutted i was going to raise two newborns on my own. With that i updated my facebook to let the world knew they arrived.”
Then id woke up. Very confused as to what this may mean, not pregnant and wont be for a few years as on the implant. Please help
I dreamt a few nights ago that I had twin boys. We have been trying for 5 years (in reality) to have children and we both would be excited about twins. I have dreams often of having a child, but never before twins. In the dream, I was still in the hospital, holding the boys, choosing the names for the boys. I was also learning to breastfeed. We recently stopped trying as persistently, and have infact put it on the back burner as it is a stressful thing to do continuously for 5 years with no success. I want to know if I am dreaming about having twins because inside I still really want children now and should start persistently trying again but it is at odds with my mind/logic telling me that we can wait, that it will be fine to wait longer. I have been obsessed with twins since the dream and can’t get their image out of my head. The names we chose, if they make any difference, are Camden and Caden. Hello. I just had a dream that someone I don’t know but I felt close to was having a baby. I was there to help her through it. She wouldn’t show her face she was hiding under a blanket. She was extremely scared and seemed as if I knew she was mentally unstable. She started to say she was about to give birth, I placed my hand on her stomach and said its okay I’ll get the nurse. I couldn’t find a nurse, panicked I ran back to the room. She was standing out of her bed using the new born baby twins as pillow standing against the wall. I screamed NO and took them from her, I could feel they had been hurt but they otherwise seemed okay. I told myself I would take and care for them as I began to warm them up and hold them. The nurse finally came in and I woke up.
I have had a reoccuring deam.
In the dream I have twin girls with a friend. We are at the church we attended six years ago together. We are walking across the street both holding a girl. An Elder of the church stops us and tells Jim he has a lovely family. I look at Jim and smile and turn back and the elder has vanished.

Im presently expecting our 3rd child and have been having dreams and horrible anxiety about being pregnant with twins. One of the dreams was that my best freidns was pregnant and I had to deliver the bahy but after and unsuccesful try my OBGYN came in and took her in to deliver the baby and came out to tell me the rewason why i couldnt deliever the baby was because what I thought was 1 baby was really 2 and they had to give her a c-section. What does this mean? I also turned on the tv one morning and they were giving a show about having twins and Ive unexpectedly come across websites talking about twins! Its drving me nuts!
I had a dream that I was told that I was pregnant with twin girls by a nurse in my doctor’s office after being checked for pregnancy. In the dream I asked her, how can that be since my tubes are tied. I dreamt that it was in my tubes, but she assured me that it was not a tubal pregnancy, and that the babies were growing fine like a normal pregnancy. What does this mean? I thank you in advance!
Christine – It would have helped me to know what was on your mind when you had this dream. For instance do you choose to have yourself sterilised or was it necessary. And what do you feel about it now?
In any case you have a woman’s body, and obviously a woman’s nature, so it is also natural to have a built in urge to have babies. So your dream could be a way that you can safely have babies without doing it physically. A sort of safety valve for such urges. Every time we have sex we stimulate that deep level of us in some degree.
But you can safely allow it in expressing any other creative urges you have – because you are the mother of creation, and also its child. So allow those twins to be born, because they may be an expression of your own creativity.

Christine – It means that despite what you have done to your body to stop having babies, you are still a full woman in your inner world. The other night i dreamed that i was giving birth to a baby boy i then had another baby and was excited to see that me and my partner were parents of twin boys. It all went smoothly and was unassisted like my last ‘real’ birth (not sure you need the detail =S) what does this mean… twin are in both our families and i always thought twins would be cool.
Jacinta – I think you love babies and having babies, and of course you would like twins, but I think this is you practising for the event. I do not think it is a prophecy, but I know the power of mothers, and if you want it strongly enough it could come true!!

I dream that I killed a very large spider. I saw the spider dead with whatever I killed it with stuck in it’s chest. Then the spider go up and ran away under som rubble. My twin nieces then walked over to the rubble to sit down, I warned them about the spider , but I never saw the spider again and my neices did not get up from the rubble
Tricia – I think the message of this dream is that you cannot kill anything so why try. Nothing can get hurt or die in the dream world, and it is far better to make friends with dream creatures rather than kill them, as they are all parts of your whole self, it is better to make friends with them. You never know when you will need them.
Your nieces seem to know that as they are not afraid – neither should you be.

Hi Tony – a couple of nights ago I dreamt about standing on this road with my husband. It was icy and cold. The next thing that happened was that a few cars were slipping and ended up in a terrible crash. I ran there to see whether I can help and saw two of my husbands friends that are twins lying on the floor. Both of them had their wrists slashed, but while one was bleeding the other one had no blood nor muscle nor any tissue behind his skin – just a bone. I woke up worried and terrified. I assume that in reality it probably has nothing to do with our friends, but what could this mean?
Mala – The nearest I can get to the meaning of your dream is that you are entering a time in relationships in which you should take care. The crash and the twins do not suggest a fatal effect, but suggest a feeling that life might not be worth living if things carry on the way they are. There is a feeling that something is not right here. I say again – something is not right and you want to take care of it.

Hi, I dreamt last night that i had twin girls. they were small about 1 years old. My Boyfriend was the father. We had my boyfriends Best Friend (which is a girl) visiting and staying with us. First part was at our home and the girls started walking.Second part we were at restaurant and I was watching the girls and My boyfriend was chatting to his friend. I could see the twins faces distinctively.
Chantell – Your dream could be you looking forward to having twin girls. But it doesn’t have the feeling of a prophetic dream.
What it could mean also is that the twin girls are two aspects of your own personality. They have been born out of your relationship with your boyfriend. One aspect of you is very easy and accepting of his and his Best Friend, but the other part of you questions it and had doubts.

Tracy – First of all this is your husbands dream, not yours. So even though he dreams about you it is not about you. Dreams fashion masks behind which – in your husband’s dream – he build up a composite picture of what he feels about you, and what he thinks about you. Just as your eyes do not directly allow you to see, but nerve impulses are sent to the brain where they are translated into living pictures.
So the dream is about HIM giving birth to twins, using the image of you because you represent his female self.
Therefore it is about his bringing forth new aspects of him – but what they are I cannot tell as there is not enough information to get a picture from.
Of course if he felt the dream was prophetic – very unusual – we will have to wait and see.

Just a couple house ago I had a dream that I was giving birth to twins, but I didn’t know who the father was (it wasn’t my bf nd I haven’t had sex with anyone else) but it seemed like there was no father nd that the babies were just put in me.
Wat does it mean?
Eve – There are lots of ways of getting pregnant beside having sex.
One of the main ways is to become so involved in something you take it into yourself in creative way, and then give birth to it and nurture it. In such cases your birth dream may be an expression of huge changes in your life that are occurring over quite long periods of time. Don’t forget that as a woman your main creative drive is to five birth, and that doesn’t have to be a child.
That it is twins could point to your birth sign – Gemini – or that there are two aspects to what you have created or are creating.
Another possibility is that you are practising being a mother. Such dreams often happen to young women to practice their ability to be a woman.
But your ‘virgin birth’ could have another significance. The story of the virgin birth is not about having a baby without sex, it is about a relationship that any person can have with themselves. Being a virgin in this case is about having a mind free from previous ‘conceptions’ and so being open to Life itself fertilising you for a new and precious thing being born.
