Stranger

May be referring to an unrecognised part of yourself, your behaviour or character, or something you fail to see or recognise as you. In a way this might even be a new growing part of you you haven’t met before. So if it is an ‘alien’ stranger it is something so new it is out of your present world view.

The stranger could also involve feelings of not belonging, of not connecting, not feeling you have a home or know where home is.

Stranger can mean we do not recognise who someone is in relationship to us, what they feel for us or we them. The stranger is also the person you have rejected – the you that is rejected.

Stranger at the door could mean a new and unexpected meeting or an opportunity.

A ragged or dirty stranger may not be about something awful appearing in your life, as sometimes the dirt hides value. But you can find out by using Being the Person or Thing

Useful Questions:

What sort of person is this – threatening, loving, interesting – see of you can define it, and ask yourself what of those is at your door of opportunity?

What is your response to the stranger, and what does this suggest?

What is the stranger doing, or what is the actions in the dream, and how does this reflect your daily life?

I keep dreaming that strangers are unlocking and opening the front door. I get scared because the door opens but never feel really threatened by the strangers. The first time it was like the man dressed in black accidentally opened the wrong door and was just as scared as me. The second time I heard keys the the door was pushed slightly open but the strangers ( three teenage boys) we’re sitting on the porch and didn’t come in. They felt a little more threatening only because I felt they could come back when we weren’t home and come in.it just freaks me out. I have lots of things transitioning but it scares me to think of someone coming into my house when I’m not home.

I see the eyes of mother Gaya. Then i see my feet. I am using medieval boots and i feel myself flowing.
At last, there is a stranger. He is wearing a hood so i don’t see his eyes. He is smiling at me.

I felt good but I have no idea if this is good or not.

Panda – Whenever we dream its images are not like real life, because a dream is nothing like outer life where things could hurt you, but is an image like on a cinema screen, so that even if a gun is pointed at you and fired it can do no damage – except if you run in fear; so all the things that scare you are simply your own fears projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind.

So the filthy stranger is a part of you that has been neglected. Usually there is an air of disrepute about the person, or of danger. This shadowy figure is any part of ourselves that we reject, and so do not allow sufficient expression in our life. We may so dislike aspects of our nature we fail to recognise them altogether and instead see them in other people and criticise them. Nations as well as individuals do this.

The shadowy figure develops in us, because as we grow and absorb our culture, we naturally repress parts of our nature as they are not acceptable to ourselves and/or society – for instance anger and natural and open sexual longing. These grow and mature in just the way our conscious personality does, through experience and further information – except the shadow has a life under the surface – in the darkness – like any socially unacceptable organisation, criminal activity or individual.

However, because the shadow is the ‘out of sight’ area of our psyche, it also holds in it great treasure through its connection with our unconscious potential. In fact, a great deal of our energy is involved in our ‘negatives’. When we meet our shadow or our fears, we are enormously more energised.

So taking them back into you by imagining merging with them, is a way of meeting your own feelings. See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson or use http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/opening-to-life/

Last night I had a dream that somebody on a dating site I am on found out where I lived (not sure how) and randomly showed up at my parents house on a cloudy afternoon to see me, we then went up to my room to start talking despite me not wanting to and I noticed he was always sitting in his car smiling at me in a very creepy manner and he sometimes let out a terrifying laugh whenever I left the house. He followed me on some occasions. I can only assume this crazy stalker stranger dream is a reminder to be careful and watch what I am doing.

I had this disturbing dream last night. A tomboyish girl was at my door, i went there to see who it was and she showed herself through a one of the holes at my door, she started lying just so I’d let her into my family house but i knew she was dishonest so i didnt let her in, then she told me ‘i will see what she will do’. Then next thing i know my house help is telling me the tomboyish girl is walking in the compound of the house, like she made it past the gate even though it was closed, and then when the househelp and i came out, i saw that my dog was dying and had vomit all over his mouth i woke up crying. :S this is really disturbing
