Girlfriend
Your emotional feelings, attachment to, the girlfriend; the difficulties, struggles with feelings and sexuality felt in connection with girlfriend or other males; your insights into her behaviour.
A girlfriend can either be a negative feelings acting on your or a very positive guiding force.
Example: We went to the same restaurant. This time it was narrower. We drank red wine from large goblets. On reaching for my goblet I knocked it over. The wine spread rapidly and I thought it was blood. I felt fear and ran from the dining room. Next I was sitting on a camel, being led by another girlfriend of mine. It was down a street where I had worked. It is called Hope Street. H. B.
The dream shows the connection the unconscious often makes between wine and blood. It shows how the alcohol produces transformations that lead the dreamer to experience fear. But the positive influence of the girlfriend changes fear to hope.
Ex-girlfriend : Any feelings or hopes still connected with her; the ex-girlfriend or lover often becomes a symbol for all the hopes for love that are not being satisfied at the moment, or in the present relationship; occasionally the past. Most people are often totally unaware of the experience they take in and how it interacts with them when we love someone. In other words the memories and experience we gather unconsciously change us and are not lost. It is part of you and is symbolised in dreams as a person or event. You have taken in millions of bit of memory, lessons learnt, life experiences along with all the feelings or problems met by loving and living with someone and they are what makes you the person you are. Your dreams tend to put all that in the image of the past person when you are dealing with the influences left in you from the relationship.
Example: I had a dream that I had the most beautiful girl with long brown hair and beautiful blue eyes and she was my girlfriend and in reality I have never met her and I don’t know who she is. Continuing, we were at the mall and we were about to kiss but right when we kiss I wake up and dream is gone. Could this have a meaning? cause I REALLY want to see her again since we loved each other so much and is it possible that she could be real and be having same dream as me? I am 15.
I doubt very much that you are having the same dream as this beautiful girl – the reason is that she is the feminine part of yourself. I know that doesn’t feel right, but having been through trying to find such a woman, it took me a long time to figure the truth. And the truth is, we are all mixed sexes. So you have nipples, and women have a tiny penis hidden usually out of sight – the clitoris.
The aim of dream is to lead you to inner wholeness. Remember the story of the Sleeping Beauty. The prince has to cut his way through brambles to get through. He sees that many others have died in the attempt. Then when he kisses the sleeping princes she wakes and they marry. In other words the dreamed of lover was woken from the unconscious and they become one.

There’s this girl who I like but didn’t really like me back (in real life). Let’s call her “Bee”. In my dream we were dating. She surprises me by showing up outside my elementary school where I just came out from. I was accompanied by her bestfriend going out the building. She was really glad to see me. Then we were about to eat with friends of hers, there about 9 or 10 of them and as I was seating next to Bee she was smiling at me. Then, one of her friends who was a girl rips in half with her hands this one piece of chicken for me and for Bee. Bee suddenly says no. She didn’t want to rip the chicken half. Bee didn’t say it as being greedy but in my dream I felt like she didn’t want to share it with me because she dislikes me. After that I stood up and walked out. Bee’s bestfriend kept asking her why did she do that and told her that she shouldn’t have done that.
My concerns in this dream are 1) Bee isn’t attracted to me in real life but in my dream we were dating. 2) in the dream she likes me but all of sudden doesn’t like me. 3)her bestfriend was always the one I felt who was orchestrating our relationship, it was like she was so concerned for the two of us that she was helping us interact with each other like having Bee surprise me and having that dinner with Bee and her friends. But in real life I don’t think her bestfriend would look to be someone like that in my dream.
I am really confused trying to figure out the meaning of all this. I hope you can help me. Please do ask me questions regarding this if you have any. Thanks!
Hi – I am stopping from answering your posts fully – but will try to give hints; sometimes long ones because I quote from masses I have already put online. Also, I need to take time to update the site – dreamhawk.
It would help you to understand your dreams, if you would read – http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/questions-2/#Summing and also http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/features-found-on-site/ which has so much information in.
Nothing can replace your own ability to understand your dream. With a little effort you can do this by practising what is described in – http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson or http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/getting-at-your-dreams-meaning/

Joebert – You are thinking of dreams as if they are about the same world as our waking life. They are completely different, and come form a part of us dating millions of years, and has a similar make up as early humans or animals who did not have speech.
So your dream about Bee is not even about her as an outer person, but about your feelings and instinctive feelings – contradictive.
Also the dream is about your instinctive drive to find a mate. You wrote, “But in real life I don’t think her best friend would look to be someone like that in my dream.”
Of course not, because the dream creates people as an expression of what your core self is trying to communicate. It is also showing you that you have an inner woman, making it more difficult to understand, for you more more complex that you suspect – see http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-anima-jungs-view-of-the-female-in-the-male/ and http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson
Hi, I’ve just had a very distressing dream in which my exgirlfriend, who broke up with me seemingly out of nowhere, showed up at my job as two different versions of herself. Since we have broken up her personality seems to have changed where she’s really concerned with impressing people and partying and being kind of reckless. This version came to see me at my job and told me that she had been cheating on me for some time and that’s why she dumped me. When this version of her left I immediately called someone for comfort and it was the version of my ex that I knew while we were together, the one that i love. This old version of her didnt deny what the new version said but couldn’t seem to definitely confirm it. What does this mean? Thank you so much.
I had a dream that my boyfriends, ex-girlfriend was trying to find her way back into his life or maybe she’s already in it and I just don’t know about it. You see when I first started dating him I caught him talking to her (by phone that I know of) she swears they talk all the time and of course he denies it. If they were talking, I really wouldn’t mind because people tend to be great friends after a relationship has ended…..but if thats the case then why hide it? In any case I am no longer with him, I can’t not be with someone I do not trust. I was just wondering why I would be dreaming of her and we were at a kids football game when we ran into each other. Nothing was said but the stare down was intense from both of us. Also I had a dream that I scratched a lotto ticket and won amillion dollars, whats the thought behind that? lol Thank you for your time and your wonderful website. Carmen……..
Carmen – Of course your ex denies his feelings for his ex-girlfriend. It happens because of the intense feelings you and most women have about other women in their man’s life. Guys know what it does so they try to hide it – not very successfully. You said it yourself – “the stare down was intense from both of us”. See http://dreamhawk.com/relationship-sex/beware-of-love/
