Four – 4
The symbol of four is the square or cube, representing stability, materialisation, earthiness, strength of a physical nature, permanency. It is the symbol of the four points of the compass; four elements, earth, air, fire and water; four functions, sensation, feeling, thinking, intuition. Four often, perhaps in the form of a square, depicts a sort of physical harmony, a wholeness. Astrologically it is Cancer, the prophet or teacher, realisation at a physical level, home and background, and the breasts. See: Numbers.
Numbers can have a personal or symbolic significance. For instance you may have had four children, so the number three in a dream about children could be connected with your feelings or fears about them. So a number may refer to a particular year of your life; the number of a house; the months or years that have passed since an important event or relationship; your family group.
Physicality; the earth; stability and strength; the home or house; reality; down to earth – yet at the same time the spiritual within the physical; the four sides to human nature – sensation, feeling, thought, intuition; earth, air fire and water.
The symbolic meanings of the number four are linked to those of the cross and the square. “Almost from prehistoric times, the number four was employed to signify what was solid, what could be touched and felt. Its relationship to the cross (four points) made it an outstanding symbol of wholeness and universality, a symbol which drew all to itself”.

I dreamt I was in a cave that started to crumble. On my way out something caught my attention in a little hidden area. When I reached in I pulled out four hour glasses each with different sand; fuchsia, blue, burgundy, and gold. Can you please help me. N the cave that I’ve dreamt I’ve seen it before multiple times and it always has an Aztec feel to it.
Just woke from a dream where I was playing an old game (lol, Excitebike) on this huge screen and when I had finished, I had made first place with a score of 44,444,444,444. It was a very long game, btw. I kicked butt! And my number for verifying this post is 8-4=4. Lol.
Hi – I am going to halt from answering your posts – the reason is that in so many of your post I give the same information to. This is because most people do not understand the difference between dreaming and waking life.
So, most of what I put in answers is my attempt at explain what dreams are really about. It would help you to understand your dreams, if you would read – http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/questions-2/#Summing

Those things that impede expression regarding this query should be seen as means of bringing a more mature shape or direction. Nevertheless success may come simply because something new and strong is being done which at its beginning passes over the forms and restrictions of what is more established.
In this sense you can succeed if you are resolute.
The number suggests something that is emerging or growing with a lot of strength. Such power flowing without direction always at some time reaches its peak, after which it declines. It is therefore wise to consider how to use its potential more resourcefully.
Very physically draining dream where my house was broken into for the 4th time. I saw the thief face to face but no one really seemed worried about it except me. I’ve been dreaming about doors a lot recently. Night before last, I dreamt about being in a room full of happiness and a big beautiful silver door. Last night I could see the door to my house was broken into by a large crowbar. The door was heavily damaged. I kept yelling, trying to get other’s attention, saying “this is the fourth time this has happened” but no one was concerned but me.

Wendy – There is a link between the silver door and the breaking in.
Because I can’t ask you questions I have to guess. So, have you ever been personally broken into sexually or emotionally.
If not that, have you even felt beaten down emotionally. I ask because your house often represents your body. If I am not asking the right questions, ask yourself what is breaking into you. To help you, can you use http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson
It might be you have a trauma that is preventing greater happiness.
I had a dream that I was trying to console some angry person and prevent him from outburst with others. Then someone gave him (the angry man) a box with 4 knives. I think the angry person was myself and ideas trying to stop my own dark side. But I don’t know what 4 knives in a box signify.
Can you help me?

Dreamer – I can help you if you can try an experiment.
You are right in feeling that you are the angy person – All the people, animals, places you see in your dreams, are simply your own feelings, fears, hopes and wonder projected onto the screen of your sleeping mind as images. So, it makes sense to take the image of your dream person, thing or animal back into you and own it. In that way, you are meeting and dealing with the things about yourself you are not owning or conscious of. That is why dreams are often difficult to understand, because we are hiding things from ourselves.
The four knives are a symbol suggesting your destructive feelings. But to actually find out what they mean you need to try an experiment by using http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson
I was reading about the number 4. I had a dream recently that specifically told me to watch for the “4’s” In the dream I saw three fours. Ever since then, that is all I see. It’s really strange but I am fascinated by it. I have no idea what to make of it . Maybe it is just coincidence.
According to Doreen Virture, Angels talk to us with numbers. The numbers 444 means “There are Angels — they’re everywhere around you! You are completely loved, supported, and guided by many Heavenly beings, and you have nothing to fear.”
