Tortoise

Outer hardness or shell, in which we may hide when others try to contact us deeply. Slow but patient efforts. Sensitivity and shyness.

I had a dream that I was on a crowded outdoor patio with friends and on this patio there was a tortoise and a babboon. I went to play with the tortoise and that was fun but when I tried to pick it up the babboon attacked me and I was terrified. I went over to a display talking about the animals and I watched a short video on the display stand saying that the tortoise had to make a new shell for himself as he grows otherwise he will die and the shell comes out of a small opening on his belly which is disrupted if the tortoise is ever picked up and that the babboon has a symbiotic relationship and protects the tortoise. I felt ashamed for disrupting the animals.
