Tea
Often represents some stimulating idea, hope, person, or contact experienced. As with alcohol, it represents the change that can be made on behaviour by inner energies or spirit. Can also represent sociability, encouragement, sympathy, or relaxation. See: Coffee.

Hi Tony,
I had a dream where I was at a friends house for a party and as her pantry was opened it did lauded boxes upon boxes of tea. I was surprised by the pantrys 3/4 tea content and confused by why she needed so much tea. Is there anything you can interpret from this dream ?
Kel – This dream will need your own exploration to uncover whether this dream is about thoughts you have about this friend, a realisation about your inner life or about both.
Often the friends in our waking life serve as a mirror for us in which we can become aware of aspects of ourselves which were unconscious before.

So what do you associate with your friend, with tea and even more with “boxes upon boxes of tea”?

In the dream you are confused about this need your (inner) friend has and so I feel it is worthwhile exploring too if this “need” is a need or a belief – “I believe I need a lot of tea” – which is perhaps more a dependency than a need.
You can explore this easily by using different techniques like “being the friend”, or the tea or “talking as the friend or the tea”, for in your dream
every image and person is an expression of your own (or her) life process. As such it is alive and intelligent and is something sent to help you. A dream is like a projection from a movie projector, except that you are the projector.
