Dead – Communicating With
The only way we can communicate with a dead person is through our thoughts. We of course expect the person to speak to us with sounds – but dead people do not have a body to make physical sounds with. This is made clear in this experience.
Example: I know from personal experience what it is like to talk as the apparently dead to the living. This is because I had an extraordinary out of body experience. I had suddenly felt as if I were shooting upwards and experienced a feeling of coming out of pressure and was now free – like a cork out of a bottle. Then I was awake and looking down at my sleeping body and suddenly felt terrified (I realised afterwards it was terror that I was dying). Then I remembered reading about experiences such as this and was laughing uncontrollably through release from terror. Then I was travelling across the German countryside where I was living, curled up with my knees to my chest, and found myself standing in our sitting room at home in London.
It was such an astonishing experience I stood in shock looking down at my body, feeling it and trying to understand. My body felt solid and real and I was dressed in outdoor clothes not my pyjamas. Then with great enthusiasm I looked up and saw my mother sitting alone knitting, our Alsatian dog lying asleep in front of the gas fire. I felt sure my mother would see me because I felt physically present and absolutely and vitally awake in a way I had never experienced before. So I called out to her, “Mum, look what has happened.” She stopped knitting for a moment but obviously didn’t see me or hear me. So I felt if I shouted this would reach her. “Mum” I shouted, “look it’s me Tony”.
There was no obvious sign that she had heard me, but two things did happen. One was that I saw or realised that she had an upstairs side of her and a downstairs side. Her upstairs (conscious) side had no awareness of me, but her downstairs side (unconscious) gave me a wonderful welcome and I had the awareness of us knowing each other in a formless love. Then at the same time my dog must have heard me shout because he woke and came rushing to me and was so full of love for me he rushed around where I stood barking and showing his joy. I later heard from my mother saying she had had been alone that night as my father was out, and she had seen the dog get up and bark and jump around for no apparent reason.
I learned enormous and important lessons from that. I realised that having no physical body the human living cannot usually hear us. They need physical sound to know we are present, but yet another part of her knew and responded. So I saw that if she had thought of me and spoken to me I would know, even though she might not be able to hear my reply – unless she was a medium or learned to listen to thoughts. The reason being that in the body most people cannot communicate via thoughts.
Since then I have learned more and see that whenever we think of the dead with warm feelings we are immediately in their presence. So all you need to do is to imagine them and talk to them, as if you would if they were there physically. Talk to them saying whatever it is you want to communicate. In dreams you will be able to receive their answers. I learned also that my dog could hear and see me, and that he loved me.
I know it sounds simple but it is. Communication with the dead is easy, but we make such a big thing of it. Remember that at death we have no physical organs to speak through, so it all has to be done through thoughts. Also that at the level of thoughts we create huge difficulties by what we think. So a thought such as, “I am not a medium so I cannot talk with my dead son” is like a brick wall that we have created and cannot get through. Thoughts and imagination are incredible powerful and are real at the level of dreams and the dead – and of course our own inner world.
Here is a very clear example of how such communications can occur while our conscious – upstairs – mind is quiet and we can hear each other through thoughts.
Example: Our son passed away on 12/22/2012. he was 24 years old. Today my 13 year old daughter told me she had a dream last night. She said she was looking in a mirror and saw her brother. She said at first it scared her then she was okay. She said she joined her brother. She said they were on a beach but it was nothing like she had ever seen. She said he was in a bright yellow shirt and tan shorts which she thought was a bit funny because he would have never wore that when he was alive.
She said the first thing she asked him was if there was a hell. She said he told her no but there was a place for those who had done really bad things to learn from them. She said that she asked a bunch of questions that he told her he wasn’t allowed to answer. She said she asked him if he missed everyone and he told her no because he could be with us whenever he wanted to. He told her he could go everywhere. He said both to beautiful and not so beautiful places. It was all his choice. He told her tell everyone he was okay. She also said he looked really good but not quite the same as he did when he was alive.
The above dream is exactly what can happen when we meet someone we love in a dream. Usually people’s minds are so full of beliefs and information that clogs up their ability to have such a clear dream. The mirror is first an indirect contact, but then the girl joined her brother in his experience of death. The answers she was given to her questions are exactly my own findings in regard to death.
In meeting the dead we have to be able to either be sensitive to their dimension of experience or to have thee courage to enter and explore it. Here sis a persons description of that.
“Then I began to entered the realm of death and so had to face and go beyond the fears and images people have of death, and I was shown my father. “I have fathered you my son,” he said. “but you have led many of us to new understandings.From this I saw my father in quite a different way than when he was in the body. He looked as if he was now a person of importance because of the knowledge he was communicating.Then I asked to see my mother. It was an amazing experience. I saw her face, young full, but as I looked at it change happened, for the image of her face became the faces of countless women. As this happened I realised that the personality of my mother was produced or had a background of countless women. And in the end, is connected deeply within herself with a synthesise of all women – The Great Mother.I began to realise that I was confronting something difficult to explain, something that was a reality at a level or a dimension I had not met or experienced before. It was a huge being which I began to see was capable of taking in and holding every mother’s experience and person, and was itself a complete synthesis of all mothers; in fact She was The Mother of everything.It was difficult for me as a human being to grasp its magnificence. I realised in my own small way why people in every culture kneel before the images of this Mother. In some wonderful way She was my mother and yet behind and working through my mother was The Great Mother.I saw too that every woman I had loved or dreamed of was in a way a meeting with this Great Mother. Then, because I saw and felt in the presence of this Figure, hurts I had done to the nature of women, I wept and asked forgiveness. I was shown that it wasn’t what I had done to any woman, but the hurt I had given to the nature of womanhood, with its great drives and energies that make women want a child and love from a man. Then in forgiveness She took me into herself and I felt and still feel AWE.Also, I saw that the Virgin Mary is far more than I had previously understood. When we kneel before her, we are kneeling before all mothers. She is wonder-full. It is the face of every, every face throughout the ages. She bears all the pain and wonder of every woman who bears a child. She is the Mother of all. And the wonder of it is too much for me to understand.
Life is a holy mystery. Why has it taken so long for me to understand – it is because during my life I have gathered/integrated more people into me, so became larger.
My sin against womanhood was that by stopping, when I did, the ability to have children through having a vasectomy. It wasn’t that I had a vasectomy, but I did it in response to my wife apparently becoming pregnant, and so in response I tramped upon her feelings of love and desire to have a child with me. It was actually a false pregnancy. I can’t even find words for it.”

Hello, happy I found this page. My 17year old daughter had a dream of her uncle (which is my brother) he passed away 11/17/2014. She said the dream was only her and her uncle they both was in a bathroom and they was standing by a mirror and she told him to turn around to see if she can see his reflection and when he turned around she didn’t see his reflection only hers and then he disappeared.
throughout the yrs I have had a similar dream with different dead people from my past. always a door I open they sat hi and im happy to see them, but then I say ‘ wait your dead’ they explain they are there so say hello. I had one friend that was upset and I asked her what was wrong, she asked me ‘how do I remember all the good things” she said she cant. I feel bad about that because that friend of mine I was told took her own life…. one time I dreamed about a different door and my uncle that had already passed was with me on the inside of the doorway, wen I opened the door it was a cousin of mine that was having problems he was asking me to come outside with him, I told my cousin no and that I didn’t trust him. my uncle that was in the house with me told me not to worry. a day or two later I found out my cousin took his own life… I believe in communication with the spirits

Nicole – Thanks for sharing you experiences with me. But with such a gift you do not need to dream to meet the dead.
I asked a dead friend if he could see where my life was going. Words came flowing into my awareness, “I can see that you are going through a period of rapid growth. Because of this, by the end of the year, you will take a new direction. It will be like looking along a new road that you have never previously taken – quite a new direction for you.”
Because I was wondering whether I was making all this up I thought that what had been said might be one of those generalisations that you could never quite be sure whether it was true or not. But then Shaun went on to say, “When that change comes you are going to meet somebody who will be part of the new direction. She is waiting for you to meet her. She has been waiting for some time. In fact, she is here with me now.”
That really made me sit up, and so I immediately broke into the conversation and said, “If I am going to meet her, how can she be with you, you’re dead!”
That didn’t faze him at all. He said, “She is here because where she lives in the world she’s asleep. While she’s asleep and dreaming she can be wherever she likes.”

My brother was murdered in nov. Me an another person have seen him many times in dreams. In the dream were in a wooded area and there is a house. My brother says to come in he needs to show us something but he looks so distraught and angry were scared to go any further. He says someone needs to know why and what happened..what is the meaning ?
I have had several dreams of my boyfriend that passed away 3 yrs ago, each time I have a child and want him to except responsibility for the child and he says no and he leaves. Can some help figure this out. It happens quite often. I would say at least once a month.
Dear Elida – The way I see your recurring dream is that it shows that you have not found the right approach yet in how to deal with what is left in you – an inner child – as a result of what you have created with your boyfriend in your inner world when he was still alive.
Your dreams are showing you your inner feelings about the past relationship – symbolised as a child – and all the memories needing to be digested and learned from. Remember that because you were together for a while there is no way you can ‘have nothing to do’ with the child you have created.
It doesn’t work like that. Most people are often totally unaware of the massive experience they take in during a relationship and how it interacts with them when we love someone. In other words the memories and experience we gather unconsciously change us and are not lost. It is part of you and is symbolised in dreams as a person or event.

Dear Tara – The way you describe your dreams it feels to me like a very loving decision to join minds with these people. I do not believe that there is a lot of difference between joining minds and exchanging/absorbing information with dead people or with people who are still present in a body; either way whatever is exchanged has to be absorbed, understood and incorporated into your way of life.

I believe that your dream expresses that the minds you join with in your dream have developed well which is expressed by them turning into an eagle.

Firstly I like ua website, i want to ask the meaninng of dream which i had this morning around 5 am. In dream i was talking to my grandfather who died 13 days ago .. In dream i was in a room in my village in old home of my grandfather which is divided into 5parts as grandfather has 5son. On dream he told me he is not dead and is alive and i firstly got terrified but then slowly i started talking to him ..and later on i saw my mother also talking to him … And i heard my cousin brother is saying that its not real get out of room now…and then it looks like i am in a mountain running down with my father and one sister …now i am in old home of my grandfather and upper story of home where only food and prepared and some valuable things are saved in boxes …gold and silver items etc. Now i saw my cousin brother came i have many cousin brother ..3-4 of them came along with my father and strart firing all boxes those boxes with valuable items ….now i saw people like leo nides who are very strong having sword ,carolus linnaeus ,leo nardo davinci etc..
Sir i want to ask queation now that …is this dream gonna have any effect on my grandmother who is nowdays very weak and cant stand much ..??

Well I have dreamt of my deceased spouse several times since his death. The first time he appeared he was in his underwear and I asked him what it felt like to be dead? He said; “its just like sleeping,” Second, time he was in his closet trying on a creamed colored Sunday suit and I was sitting there watching him get dressed I felt really happy and we were just talking about things since he passed. Third was this morning he was trying on the same suit and I was on the bed and I asked him if he would be paying the bills again, he said yeah. I said cool and felt really joyous. Curious as to what all this means. I do have concerns about how I will be able to make the mortgage payments since his death as I don’t have a job nor any income coming in right now. Wondering if my subconscious is reaching out to him because when he was alive he made the mortgage payment. What do you think. Thanks for any insight you can shed on my situation.
Please shed some light on my dream of my dead child. 1. He came in the dream walking in a field with waving grass, looked back, smiled and told me to tell my daughter not to worry, he’s happy and then vanished. 2. He was murdered, came to me in the dream, we were sitting at a table and he said look in the documents, you will find my murderer. 3. came to me, we were sitting at a university campus and he said im in a hurry, cause the ex girlfriend helped to put me in jail. Can you assist me please, I have a very disturbing dream last night, A guy I know who has been gone for 2 years was in my dream, he was humiliating me infront of a web cam he tried to strangle me then as he kissed me he was trying to blow some toxic poison in my mouth trying to kill me … it was here I woke up .. was very distressing What could all this mean I have surfed the net for the meaning of the dead trying to kill me but cant find an answer can you help please ?
