Bicycle Cycling

Personal effort or motivation which gets you somewhere. For many people a bicycle was their first experience of mastering a body skill and gaining greater freedom. In your dream it might therefore represent youthful freedom or enthusiasm without responsibilities, the perseverance and confidence to master a skill, mental balance – confidence – which enables one to achieve ones goals. It could mean facing dangers in learning a skill or confidence or even adolescent sexuality.

Cycling can also refer to the cycles of feeling or mood we pass through. So it can imply that one is experiencing a cycle which you may be trapped in. The way to get out of this cycle is to step back from it using observation, this is like stepping back and not be lost in the emotions or moods. See self-observation and letting things happen

Bicycle race or riding with many other people: Dreams often use this scenario to represent an overall view of your situation in life. It shows how you feel about your place in the human race, whether life is a struggle or pleasure, etc. See: race.

Falling off bike: Losing balance – losing confidence; awkwardness; vulnerability. This could also suggest a problem occurring in your chosen direction, a failure of your energy or ability to achieve.

Flying on bike: The magic of believing in yourself and therefore being able to achieve things that would otherwise be seen as impossible.

Pump: This often seems to link with sex or masturbation as in example.

Example: We walked a bit further and came to a hut beside the road. we laid down behind the hut in some long grass to make love but suddenly I saw a snake and jumped up. It turned out to be only a bicycle pump but by now we were aware of other people nearby and the moment had gone.

The snake and pump in this dream are obvious links with sexual desire.

Riding a bicycle downhill: Taking or facing a risk; being daring; need for care. It might also suggest ‘going downhill’ in the sense of losing advantage, losing the ‘high ground’.

Stolen bicycle: If you are using the stolen bicycle, it suggests a feeling of needing someone else’s skills or confidence’ of not having developed your own initiative or life skills. If you have had your bicycle stolen, then it is a feeling of losing your ability to get on through your own efforts; loss of enthusiasm or confidence.

Example: I was walking up a hill pushing a bicycle. Several other people went by riding theirs but that didn’t worry me. I went on up the hill and could only gasp in wonderment when I got to the top – I could see for miles and everything was in the most wonderful colours you could ever imagine. My first thought was ‘How wonderful God is to create such a beautiful world for us.’ I thanked him then and there. I thought ‘I wonder if it is like this behind me?’ as I looked around, right up close to me was what seemed like a huge black wall. As I looked along the wall, right at the end the marvellous view started, this continued round to the side of me and in the huge expanse in front. I can’t remember any road or pathway going down the hill, onwards. Muriel M.

Muriel’s dream presents what she feels about life when she sees it as a whole. The bicycle and her relationship with others illustrates that she doesn’t see herself achieving as much as others, but this does not perturb her, or rob her of her wonder at life. The black wall suggests that the past, the territory she has already covered, is now gone and only what she lives and creates in this moment is before her.

Example: I am in a bicycle race with many other people. I come to a very long hill. It is difficult and I have to push my bicycle. It takes me until midday. When at the top I meet a lot of family. Then I cycle on, realising that because the road is flat, I can go much further before nightfall than I covered in the morning. Anthony.

Anthony was in his late forties at the time of the dream. It shows him feeling as if the first half of his life has been a long difficult climb. His assessment or intuition of the second half of his life is that it will achieve much more, or cover more ground and he will have more human and warm relationships, represented by his family. The bicycle represents his personal efforts to deal with life and his place in the human race.

Bicycle wheel: Like any circular thing, it represents your wholeness, the best of you. If you have lost the wheel or it is damaged, it shows you have lived or done things in your past that have lessened your effectiveness in life, and you are trying or ought to deal the failure in daily life.

Example: One of my wheels had broken. Apparently a new wheel was supposed to be in the room, which was like a spares store. I looked in a cupboard on the left of the room, but although other people’s wheels were there, I couldn’t find mine.

On exploring this dream the dreamer he saw that, “The dream was given to show the difficulties now coming into your own life. The wheel represents that wholeness which you seek and need. The wholeness is broken from past lives. The wheel reminds you that your journey up on the trackless way must have this wholeness. When you lost this wholeness, you lost your proper relationship with my light, life, and love. This must be found within the future.”

Useful Questions and Hints:

Is this depicting my personal effort to move and change in life, or is indicating my life as a whole?

Are other people involved and in what way?

What attitudes or skill are shown in the dream?

Maybe Acting on your dream will help.

I was riding my bike when some random guy came along and tried to kick my bicycle to stop me. He didn’t succeed, but was persistent. I pulled my pocket knife out and popped his front tire, and that was it.

I have a dream I’m out on a bike ride with mum (lively gentle bike ride in the countryside) and she is in front of me most of the time. Each down hill she goes faster and falls off and I always get off and help her back up. What does this mean?

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2016-01-17 12:13:53

Dear Jo – What I see in your dream – and please explore it yourself as well – http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/dream-yoga/ and http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/acting-on-your-dream/#BeingPerson – is that you become aware of how your inner mother “cycles through” the way she deals with her natural feelings. Many people do not realise that they have an inner mother equally as powerful as an external mother. You have taken in millions of bit of memory, lessons learnt, life experiences along with all the feelings or problems met by loving and living with your mother, and (some of) this has become part of your inner world as well.
What seems to be a repeating cycle is that with every loss of control – or the feeling/perception of having lost control – your inner mother loses confidence and needs some help to be put into the saddle again.
It might help to use “Being the mother” and explore if you can recognise where these feelings occur in your waking life.

i have been lonely for a long time so im not sure if this plays a part… in the dream it felt like I was in a marathon with runners and bikers but i was the only biker and everyone else except me were women….the grounds were filled with snow and slushy snow ice…but all the runners were dressed like how they would in a summer marathon…now seeing this would make any men lustful but i was not lustful instead saying to myself how beautiful these women looked and i was just trying not to get lost…it felt like i was very focused going in the right direction of the marathon race…. i get on the bike lane which was filled with slushy snow ice….the bike i was riding seemed like those marathon bikes but with regular handle bars…suddenly i somehow end up going down a big hill…(it seemed exactly like the hill me and my friends would ride down our skateboards in the mundane)…the ground of the hill were filled with slushy snow ice but while im riding the bike i was not having any problems and rode down the hill smoothly…i was using my foot as brakes to slow down as i noticed the brakes did not work (a bike i own in the mundane doesn’t have brakes so maybe this played a part?)…when i got down the hill i checked if i had brakes and saw that the wires for the brakes were missing….i somehow end up waiting to across the street, few runners were in front of me…again i told myself these women in front of me are beautiful and didn’t pay much attention to them…and again, i was not being lustful, instead i wanted to make sure i was going in the right direction of the marathon…im riding the bike crossing the street…the women seemed to have vanished as i was going to follow them so i wont get lost… my main focus in the dream was trying to find the right direction and not get lost from the marathon race…when i crossed the street i made a turn and went in what looked like an entrance for the subway…i realized it was the wrong direction and was kind of repulsed by the subway entrance…i made a uturn and looked around to see if there were runners going to a certain direction so i can join….some guy bumps into me and i get upset…but i see few runners running toward a direction i try to join them…and i realized this is a similar place, a street where my job used to be nearby…(i used to work night shift and in my break i would walk up this street to get food) also in the dream i was saying to myself the marathon will take 3 days…i wake up….the last part of the dream, the street where my former job was nearby i really liked a co-employee so i am not sure if this plays a part……anyone here had similar dreams like this? i would like to hear opinions on what this strange dream can mean? thank you

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2016-01-14 12:39:11

Dear Asano – In order to get a better understanding of the inner world of your dreams, please read this http://dreamhawk.com/news/summing-up/
The marathon depicts our participation in life. In it we are part of a ‘race’ – the human race. The imagery of the marathon is wonderful in depicting this.
Your dream is showing how you have chosen to approach your part in the race, especially as far as your relationship with women is concerned.
In order not to get lost in feelingS of lust, you have decided to “freeze these feelings”; the grounds were filled with snow and slushy snow ice…
I feel it will be helpful to explore not seeing women as sex objects, and so expressing what you might perceive as “pure” feelings towards them – “now seeing this would make any men lustful but I was not lustful” – and repressing/denying these feelings of lust.
Allowing feelings of lust, which you might perceive as “uncontrollable” at first – your brakes not working – will offer you the opportunity to learn to deal with these sexual urges.
When you repress them you deny yourself this possibility and you are merely postponing your inner growth.
What I see in this part of your dream – “I wanted to make sure I was going in the right direction of the marathon…I am riding the bike crossing the street…the women seemed to have vanished as I was going to follow them so I won’t get lost… my main focus in the dream was trying to find the right direction and not get lost from the marathon race…” – is that you are at first following “the way of the woman” to find the right approach towards them and your inner female; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-anima-jungs-view-of-the-female-in-the-male/.
Your dream shows some kind of fear to find and follow YOUR own direction in life, which direction you will find when you enter the subway.
The subway symbolises inner feelings, unconscious direction and tendencies, things that influence you that act below the level of your everyday awareness. This could include childhood feelings or painful memories that are suppressed and/or family or personal attitudes that are deeply habitual; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/underground-metro-subway/
All that is in the subway and so unconscious still is however very much influencing all the choices you make in life.
So why not explore why you are repulsed by the idea of looking what is there; why not enter and take the risk of being able to live your own life, make conscious decisions and follow your own inner direction?
You asked if someone else had similar dreams like this. Perhaps it is a comfort to know that you are not the only man who represses his sexual (perhaps you can also explore what lust means to you) feelings and that there are other ways to learn to deal with your male sexuality; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/sex-and-dreams/

    Anna 🙂

      -asano 2016-01-15 16:25:05

hello anna, that was very interesting…especially the “freezing these feelings” part…I never thought of it that way….im not so sure about the subway part though… ive always hated it since I was a kid going to school and to this day going to work so I thought its just me hating it in the dream as well…I always feel like I am getting drained…maybe its got to do with me not being comfortable in large crowds…but maybe you could be right and it does make some sense so its very interesting……the last part of your response you gave a link to a teenage-male-dreams….do teenagers have these type of dreams and not adults? because I am in my early 30’s….I appreciate the response and it was a interesting read….by any chance do you have a work email? or is this site the only way to reach you? I have few other weird dreams that I would like to share and would be interested on what your take would be on it….

        -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2016-01-17 13:19:03

Dear Asano – Thank you for sharing some helpful, additional information about yourself.
Being interested (perhaps curious even?) is a wonderful step towards being willing to explore what is part of the inner world you have created.
I can understand your hesitation about the subway part and whenever you feel up to it, I suggest you explore the subway to see what is hidden there; also to explore the cause why you feel like you are getting drained by large crowds.
What I can see in your dream now too – one symbol often carries a load of information on different levels – is that following the women might be about how following your intuition is the main function you use; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/dream-sources/#Funct
Have you ever explored if you are a so called “emotional or intuitive empath”?
Could it be that you are so tuned in to other people – which can make you feel drained – that you might have difficulties sensing/feeling/becoming aware of what goes on inside YOU, of what is YOUR direction in life?
A helpful book to read might then also be
        http://www.amazon.com/Emotional-Freedom-Liberate-Yourself-Transform/dp/0307338193/ref=la_B000AP8R6O_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1453034353&sr=1-1
I put in the link of the teenager-male-dreams because you did not mention your age and teenagers might have these type of dreams too; learning to deal with their (sexual) feelings without freezing them and finding their own way in (their inner) life is also part of the process of turning from a teenager into an adult; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/individuation/
Dreams often show that this stage can be dealt with at a later age too, when parts of the process were skipped or not properly/sufficiently dealt with yet.
And yes, I have a “work email” and I will send this post to the email address you mentioned on the website so that you can send me a few of your other dreams. I will do my best – time permitting – to have a look at these too, but once again, I like you to understand that exploring your dreams yourself is a way to learn to focus on yourself and YOUR inner life; http://dreamhawk.com/inner-life/clicking-on/

-leanne 2016-01-03 4:24:03

I have had this dream for several years on and off. The situation may vary but I am always riding a bike, but I can’t ride it properly. Either I can’t stop, or people overtake me as I’m struggling. I know I should be able to ride but I cannot seem to ever do it right.

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2016-01-08 15:05:40

Dear Leanne – Not knowing anything about your waking life, it is difficult to understand what your dream is trying to tell you; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/not-enough-information/ I will do my best though to give you some helpful hints.
Do you compare yourself often with how other people manage their skills?
Your recurring dream could express that you perceive learning new skills as difficult.
Perhaps you can ask yourself what you mean with “I cannot seem to ever do it right.”?
Does “right” mean like a perfectionist or can you allow yourself to make errors and learn something in your own pace – let people overtake you – and give yourself time to overcome your uncertainty and lack of confidence?
If you can become aware of your perception about how new skills “SHOULD BE” learned, or how life “SHOULD BE” dealt with, you might be able to decide that you have your own unique way of learning and managing life skills and that that is okay; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/self-observation/

-Jade 2015-12-24 11:07:04

I had a very unique dream. I remember traveling by myself at night on a bike, I didn’t know where I was going, but it was on a road that didn’t really end although it had many twists and turns. I seemed to pass an outside concert in the distance and heard a very beautiful song that dream me recognized, as it was one of dream me’s favorite bands. I doubt it exists in real life. I realized that I was heading to the concert and then I saw many other people also riding bikes in front of me and behind me. After a while I had to take a break so I stopped on a hill. After i stopped, I noticed that everyone else stopped, too. I expected them to keep going because it wasnt like I asked them to hold on. After I caught my breath I went to my bike and apologized to everyone for stopping them. No one got back on their bikes so I sat on the side of the road with everyone else. I tried to talk to some people but no one really responded and it was very quiet. I recognized someone I knew and said hey and that’s when my dream switched to everyone being in this small white room where we sat and waited for no reason. It could have been a waiting room but i dont know for sure. I saw a lot more people that I used to be friends with and I talked to them while being very happy. This includes friends from elementary school and I am in college now. I ended up never going to the concert. The whole dream was calm. I woke up calm and happy and wanting to talk to god.

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-12-29 9:34:01

Dear Jade – Well you have understood your dream already, which I can see in the way you expressed yourself; “I had a very unique dream. I remember traveling by myself at night http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/archetype-of-the-night-journey-the-search-for-self/ on a bike, I didn’t know where I was going, but it was on a road that didn’t really end although it had many twists and turns. The whole dream was calm. I woke up calm and happy and wanting to talk to god.”
You realise that while moving through your life with its many twists and turns, you better wait, because you do not know where you are going.
Talking to god I see as your desire to connect with your Core – your Self – so that you will find some form of direction in your (inner) life.
The mass of experience and potential which lies behind our waking awareness is like an inner factor that, apart from expressing precise information in the form of remembered facts and events, can act as a huge reference base if we listen, through intuition, feeling states, dreams or visions. When we meet this inner potential or healing principle, we may have a powerful experience of meeting Christ, Buddha, Krishna or God, or any number of figures with great powers.

-Zay 2015-11-08 7:44:11

I had a dream where I went out to my friends house by bike but they already had one of my old bikes there. So I keep the current bike I am on at a bus stop and get to her house by bus and come cycling with the other bike but I leave it somewhere and take the bus home again, so I am in the bus now and I am on the way home and I start freaking out because I don’t remember where I left either of the bikes, so I get out of the bus not knowing what to do next and have all this anxiety about not finding them and being so careless.

Please help!

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-11-08 11:43:54

Dear Zay – Because you are the creator of your dream, it will be helpful to explore it for yourself as well, so that you can get a deeper feeling understanding of your own creation; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/practical-techniques-for-understanding-your-dreams/
Moving by bus and/or bicycle expresses the different ways you use to get somewhere. What I see in your dream is that you cannot make up your mind yet how you want to move on in your life.
When you use the bus in a dream it can mean that you are trying to get somewhere but depending on others, or another person to get you there. This can point to the experiences you gain with other people, or other people’s influence. It is particularly about what you meet in your undertakings or relationship with a group of people, and the direction taken in company with others.
The old bicycle could be a symbol of moving along while using all the experience you have gathered over the years. Sometimes it can indicate that you are “driven by” old habits and attitudes; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/habits/
As you can read in this entry; when you take the bicycle you merely use your personal effort and motivation to get you somewhere.
I do not see your attitude in your dream as careless and merely as not being aware of what you are doing at the moment.
That is no reason for anxiety, for there are many ways to learn to make decisions with more awareness and lost bicycles can be easily found; http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/secrets-power-dreaming/

Hello
I dreamt I was cycling a long the road by the river thames and decided to go across a bridge I had never been across. As I cycled on the view from the bridge became this beautiful waterscape of little lush islands and water that stretched all around and the bridge itself became watery but passable. I remember stopping to consider if it was possible and safe to cross thats when I woke up. What stayed with me was the immense beauty of the land scape.

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-10-23 16:34:27

Dear Caroline – A beautiful dream and you describe it so well. What I see in your dream is that it starts with you moving along. I wonder if you “go with the flow” of the river.
It is like allowing the Life force to move you along; http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/the-lifestream/
    and
    http://dreamhawk.com/body-and-mind/peoples-experiences-of-lifestream/
You reach a point where you dare to cross the river on a bridge you have never crossed before. Crossing a river is about making great changes and a bridge is a way of allowing passage.
When you are on the bridge you become aware that some inner obstacle must have been undone, because the bridge is becoming watery and the landscape transforms too.
    See also http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/obstacle/
I believe it expresses that you allow your inner flow of Life and feelings again and it IS safe because what you become aware of is how your inner (emotional) landscape transforms into a view/feeling of immense beauty; “beautiful waterscape of little lush islands and water that stretched all around.”
The islands could symbolise things that have come from the depths of your unconscious, but are now established in everyday life.
    See http://dreamhawk.com/inner-life/the-unconscious-2/
Did you do any inner work to get to this point?
Perhaps it will be helpful to carry your dream forward and cross all the way so that you can explore more of your inner world and its beauty?
You might also want to explore the difference in feelings when you are cycling across the Thames and when you are on the watery bridge seeing/feeling the immense beauty of your inner landscape.

-Mindy Taylor 2015-10-02 22:29:38

About a month ago, I had a dream which may have been a near death experience. Background: I had recently had surgery and was experiencing breathing problems. Those problems have been resolved, but I am still in considerable pain.

Anyway, this was the dream:
I suddenly found myself out of my body. I thought, ok, I must be dead then. It was like nothing very significant had happened. Everything felt totally natural and easy, as if I had just gone into another room.

Anyway, I thought I should tell Bill, so I walked over to him. I put my hand on his shoulder and tried to talk to him. But the sound of my words came out very low and static like. He couldn’t hear me at all. I realized that spirits can’t use words to communicate with those on earth. The vibrations in these realms are just too different. So I must have told him telepathically. He was very unhappy with what I said and started to give me all the reasons why I should not die, but stay here. It was like he was giving me a college lecture! So, after he talked I said to myself, ok that all makes good sense and maybe I should stay after all.

The decision was made, but I said to myself, since I’m here, meaning the spirit world, I might as well have a little fun. So I started flying. It was fun! Then I looked up and there was a guy high up flying on a bicycle. I waved to him and he waved back. Then I woke up.

-Ela 2015-09-23 7:16:08

I’ve had some really strange dreams lately. Last night I dreamt of being pregnant and trying to hide my belly from anyone I knew and I wore some large clothes. My belly kept moving all the time and i could feel it. When I walked out my room I saw a lot of bikes standing in the hall. There were more than 50 bikes. All new and shining and red and black. They came in all sizes and purposes. I didnt ride any but I was thinking of riding one ( a tiny one ).

-kristin 2015-08-06 17:39:56

i left my bike in the care of a friend and four days ago, it was stolen.

after the news of my stolen bike, i had a dream that i was sitting outside on the patio of a restaurant, and i saw someone with my bike (i was aware that this was my stolen bike in the dream). i turn around and i see him put it to the side of a bike rack unlocked. i remember trying to justify whether or not i should steal the bike back or contact the police so they could do something. i couldn’t come to a conclusion because i woke up, but the bike in my dream HEAVILY RESEMBLES the teal bike i once had in real life.

i was internally struggli

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-08-10 12:41:42

Dear Kristin – I believe that the experience of your bike being stolen in your waking life triggered some undigested memory in your unconscious mind, which is a good thing because now you can use this opportunity and dream to explore this part of your inner world.
I wonder if you felt unloved – if only perhaps still unconsciously – in your waking life “because” (not every “because” is a correct conclusion) your friend “did not took care” of your bike well enough?
With undigested stuff in our mind we could tend to misinterpret certain experiences.
I had the same experience yesterday where something had triggered unresolved issues from a relationship with my ex-husband. While dealing with my current partner, in my mind I distorted every part of our communication and merely related to him with feelings of the past.
This made that I jumped to conclusions about his feelings that had not been part of his experience at all; it was a story running in my mind only. When I checked with him later it turned out that every “because” – like I thought he did not want to communicate with me “because” he did not love me anymore the way he used to – was wrong.
    See also http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/digest/
    and
    http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/habits/
Stealing in a dream can be an expression of feeling unloved, as you will feel you are stealing what is not willingly given and the police can symbolise your need for love as well and for caring and protection.
I believe it will be helpful to explore the feelings you had in this dream and to see what feelings or emotions are evident, because then the dream is often more understandable than if you try to interpret the symbols. Feelings in dreams are nearly always undistorted. You therefore do not need to interpret them, simply to recognise them and see if you can recognise where they occur in waking life.

-Julien 2015-08-05 9:07:09

I had a dream of finding in the ground and digging out an old bike in front of my parent’s house. The front wheel was bent but was replaced so the bike could be ridden, it was a pretty nice size. I was with a friend of mine who was quite envious of my finding. What could be the meaning of my dream last night? Thank you

    -Anna - Tony's Assistant 2015-08-09 9:25:18

Dear Julien – Digging usually depicts delving into hidden or buried areas of ourselves. We may uncover feelings from our childhood – creative realisations – features of the unconscious.
So the way I see your dream is that you have uncovered a part of your past and what you “inherited” or took in from your parents.
    See http://dreamhawk.com/approaches-to-being/questions-2/#Integrate
You wrote that “The front wheel was bent but was replaced so the bike could be ridden” and I believe this could symbolise an old damage to you and your feeling of wholeness, which is healed or calls to be healed in your mind.
    See also http://dreamhawk.com/dream-dictionary/whole-2/
It is good to understand that all dream images are aspects of your own mind and abilities.
So the bicycle could be a symbol of your ability to get somewhere in life by personal effort and/or motivation.
The friend who is quite envious about your finding is a living part of you/your inner world too and so I wonder if it will be a helpful approach if you are willing to share this bicycle with him/her.
So perhaps you feel like using Power Dreaming to explore what it feels like to “Be the bicycle” and/or to “Talk as the bicycle”, to have your dream figure ride the bicycle as he appears in your dream and your friend too and perhaps even to feel the difference?
    See http://dreamhawk.com/dream-encyclopedia/secrets-power-dreaming/
Does that give you a start with your dream?
    Anna 🙂

-Matt 2015-07-17 14:46:16

In my dream I am cycling in one of my high-schools halls with at least 50 other people. I am near the top half of the group but once I think I am winning I start to fall in places to be about the 20-23rd position. The hall has not ended yet. Once I realize I need to actually exert more energy I gain position until i am almost at first place but then the race ends where I see a person I hate at first place. This dream has repeated at least three times all about the same except my spot may be getting closer to her,

Thanks,
Matt.

Dear Matt – The way I see your dream is that you are in a learning situation as far as your inner world is concerned and you haven’t found the right approach yet. Albert Einstein stated that we unconsciously drive our self by “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
The race takes place in a hall and a hall is merely a symbol of unity, of coming together of things.
A large group of people carry the same meaning; the bringing together of more aspects of yourself. Therefore a large group suggests a lot of energy involving many different aspects of yourself.
I believe that what you meet in your dream figure as he appears in your dream is your most dominant character trait; competitiveness and the belief that in your inner world it is about winning.
It can create some confusion when you fail to recognise the difference between your inner world and the demands of your waking life where competitiveness might be needed.

The woman in your dream I see as a symbol of your inner female – which is another aspect of your mind – and I wonder what it is that you hate about her.
If you can think of the characteristics you loathe in others, then you get a fair picture of what you repress in yourself.
The shadow develops in us, according to Jolande Jacobi, because as we grow and absorb our culture, we naturally repress parts of our nature as they are not acceptable to parents or society.

Hello Tony,
I had a dream in which there was a mass shooting going on in my college while I was leaving,I was in the line of fire but hid with my friend behind a bicycle for cover, also I imagined the Purple light around me as an aura in order to repel bad energy, sure enough the shooter left us alone.
I was thinking of taking cover under better shelters but my friend told me it wasn’t safe to move. Finally it got over quickly,I was trying to tell theprincipal who was speaking to the police that 2 gunshots had been heard by everyone even before the shooting began,he wasn’t telling d cop d truth though he heard me well. Pls help me interpret.
Love April

My falling from a bicycle dream is very specific. I’m always falling off a very old bicycle; one of those with the huge front wheel (huge as in, about 5 feet in diameter!), and my fall is in extremely slow motion. Can you tell me anything about these two specifics?
Thank you.

Judy – My feelings about your dreams are that they suggest you are using an old and outworn method to get where you want to go in life. They are methods that are about using your own initiative but are obviously not working. The slow motion fall shows that the method is not dangerous, but you could find a better alternative.
